This should help you through the next few weeks...a die hard hockey and NHL fan in general. It's really the only sport that does it for me.
That was my understanding too... I don't recall the exact dates, but teams that didn't make the playoffs could start in December and the playoff teams started in JanuaryI believe the teams that didn't make the expanded playoffs can start camp on December 30th and the rest of the league on January 3rd.
I'm guessing it will be. It allows Canada to keep it's borders closed (well, once the Americans and Euros get to Canada and quarantine for two weeks).Hopefully the all Canadian division is a thing!
My assumption will be that it looks exactly as it did for the playoffs. I'm willing to be wrong though.Yay hockey, wonder what they're going to do for fans at games.
As a Red Wings fan. Couldn't be happier to hear the news today! Yay
And so it begins...Well of course! You guys have your eyes on the draft lottery!
Nah... We've gotten screwed on that a couple times now...Well of course! You guys have your eyes on the draft lottery!

Its all good. Giving other teams a chance. 25 years of straight Playoff appearances, 4 Stanley Cups, grew up watching some Amazing hockey. Stevie Yzerman will right the ship don't you worry.Well of course! You guys have your eyes on the draft lottery!
We came into the league together and still haven't done it. Right there with you man.Or ever

Thanks! Personally I think our arena is getting a bit long in the tooth, it realy could use some renovations, but it's home. I came up there a few years ago to see Roger Waters at Scotiabank. That arena was something to see. With the money that flows up there, especially for the Leafs, you guys had the money to do it right.I remember going to the old Aud to watxh the buffalo blizzard back in the day!
Love your guys barn in buffalo! Great rink to watch some puck!

The old Aud was just a place of legend, a very unique place. In always remember being scared when I was a kid and sitting way up high because it was soooo steep. Great memories
Haven't made it to SAP yet...
CBJ games are lit! Great area, building, fans, hockey.... The whole sport is blowing up all around the city.
No titles yet, but management definitely doing things right. Feels like its coming soon...
I wish, even for a few games a year, they would go back to the old style of shutting off the lights that aren’t above the ice. Maybe just nostalgia from my youth but the player on on stage light it like you would any other show.To be honest... it’s very hard to catch live games at Scotiabank arena (formerly ACC). The tickets are too expensive and just need to know a friend of a friend of a friend to get your hands on them.
My criticisms aside from not bringing a winning product to the ice is the arena is too well lit and cavernous. This makes everyone sit on their hands and silent. Not raucous at all and way to easy for opposition to play in.
When I’ve gone and sat in nosebleeds I worry that I’ll embarrass the person who gave me the tickets if I let my loud self get into the game. It’s become too bougey.
Le sigh.
