I was just thinking of this thread. I have never blocked anyone. You can say whatever you want in threads, I don’t get offended. But, I’ve come across a couple of ads in classifieds, and also some warning threads, I should have blocked them. I told myself I would never buy from them. But, I’m so old, I forget who they are, and a couple months later I’m looking at theiir ads again.

I’m glad I unlocked the Gold Tenure status, it lets you unblock and unignore yourself from others feeds, along with some other nice features.

You have to accept to see it somewhere under account settings.

Would strongly recommend against it though. I subscribed for awhile then blocked it again. It's exactly what one should expect from a political debate. Everyone talks past each other, no ones opinion ever gets changed and nothing ever gets resolved.

I like to come here to forget about life for awhile. Why anyone would want to bring politics into here is beyond me.

I enjoy an intellectual debate live, but online it's useless. People hardly read the opposing view's posts, they don't let it sink in and accept that everybody can be (at least somewhat) correct.

You may as well go an electronics store, turn half the TVs to MSNBC, half the TVs to FOX and turn the volume all the way up. It'll be less annoying, and accomplish the same.
