I may be obnoxious, but I don’t advocate cheating like you do. Your behavior bleeds into other things here as well, and I’m not surprised to hear that you conduct business just like you “play” poker.

You want to be an expert at something so bad, but usually when people have to convince you that they are an expert its because they really are not.

I’m convinced that you are an expert at maximizing profit from your friends and community. But that’s all.

What the fuck are you talking about? Your ability to take something someone says and to just completely murder the shit out of it before it exits your brain is truly remarkable.

At no point in this thread have I ever once advocated cheating. I don't look at other players cards. If the player next to me is exposing their hole cards, I tell them (just like I did last week at my Omaha final table). If they do it again, I tell them again. If a dealer pitches cards in a way that players can see, I tell them (or I tell the floor just like I did a few hours ago in today's tournament).

You can call me whatever names you want. But you can go fuck yourself if you're going to try to turn this into a "Travis is a cheater" discussion because I decided to educate you about one of the lesser known challenges of dealing poker.

I don't need to see anyone's cards to win at poker. Hell, I wouldn't even need to look at my own cards to beat you.

I think if you took this exact same hand but removed the flush draw potential and just made it a rainbow board instead, then it would be pretty close to the edge of my "that was a terrible call, but not really a suspicious call" threshold.

As I mentioned earlier, I've called people down with Jack high and won as well. But the other details of the hand were very different.

Over the past couple of days,, I've been wondering where the heck you were headed.

Now I get it. Twisty road with uneven pavement, but in the end, it delivers -- well done. Real-life examples of shoe-on-other-foot syndrome usually work wonders.

Probably applies to 95%+ of the other 'she cheated' voters, too. Innocent until proven guilty, or at least have SOME evidence ffs.
 
Okay, I'm late here. Sorry to disturb the personal pissing match, but I have a comment about the subject matter. Been following this somewhat, but not nearly as much as some people. I always lean toward the most logical explanation. The most logical explanation is that she made a really dumb play, and maybe misread her hand. When the hand was over, she didn't want to look dumb, and so didn't tell the truth right away.

Now, if you always lean toward the most logical explanation, you would NEVER catch cheaters. Yes, it is possible she was cheating. It seems that there should have been way better spots to cheat in the game than that one. Cheating on that hand makes no sense though. I'm sure someone must have analyzed her other hands, were their any other cheating possibilities?
 
If it's true she was up over $100K in just two sessions at HCL (before this hand/session in discussion), then IMnshO, she doesn't get to play the "dumb" card (no pun intended)...

In addition, even with her updated Hendon Mob, she has a number of 1st-3rd finishes and has been coached multiple sessions by Faraz Jakka

So claiming she's brand new seems a stretch

Wow, while reading you post I was listening to radio station B98.5 and the song playing was UNDER the Boardwalk. Plus the exact number of characters (minus spaces) in you post is 91. Therefore it's obvious that the under will hit, should be as plain as the sun setting in the east.

I can only assume this was intended to be satirical.

One person in this exchange is posting ideas, theories and opinions based on their personal experience. Feel free to agree or disagree with them, or that person's actual level of experience. Feel free to think everything he says is full of shit! Maybe he is, or maybe he isn't. I don't know him at all. I disagreed with some of his posts earlier in the thread. But at least I found all of his posts to be interesting and having relevance to the conversation.

The other person comes across as an angry, bitter old man screaming at clouds...
