I 100% agree the VLV is a better choice than the beavers but figured the info couldn’t hurt. Thanks! Kinda prefer the VLV $1 based on the colors at this point.
Really, the VLV $1s are an unfairly sexy chipI 100% agree the VLV is a better choice than the beavers but figured the info couldn’t hurt.
These are awesome!! Great job.I shared with a couple members and their feedback was encouraging enough to share here. Before the roasting begins, just know that my target audience was my younger siblings and they love it. We all love the BTP's vibrant, circus theme and I wanted to follow along with that theme. While there's a ton of color matching across chips, it was the best I could come up with considering the bright choices available.
Okay ripping the band-aid off:

Light blue seems to vary in perceived appearance greatly depending on the spot colors imo. Same for a lot of cpc colors.Just know that the light blue will come out more grayish than blue. I'd go DG Peacock on the $1 if you want more of a blue chip. Make the base on the $5 DG Yellow and you have yourself a set!
Thanks, brother! The 5-17 age audience love them, which are my regulars hahaThese are awesome!! Great job.
Yep. Remaining true to my reputation, patience is a virtue I do not have haha A-mold equals quick(er) turnaround. You intending A mold?
You’ll regret it lol!Yep. Remaining true to my reputation, patience is a virtue I do not have haha A-mold equals quick(er) turnaround.
Here I was thinking this experience would be different from my other chip purchases! You’ll regret it lol!
Edit: I'm told this design is not possible due to spot splitting. Please hold lolJust know that the light blue will come out more grayish than blue. I'd go DG Peacock on the $1 if you want more of a blue chip. Make the base on the $5 DG Yellow and you have yourself a set!

It would be an honor for the Batman(s) to play at the same table as me one day. All "BAM! POW!"'s aside.Ooo, watch out when @Windwalker or @BruceWayne comes to the table.... BAM! POW!
You need BAM! POW! Buttons with this set nowIt would be an honor for the Batman(s) to play at the same table as me one day. All "BAM! POW!"'s aside.
Don’t forget ZAP! ZOINKS! SMASH! and BANG! Just saying! You need BAM! POW! Buttons with this set now
I'm partial to ZOWIE! myself.Don’t forget ZAP! ZOINKS! SMASH! and BANG! Just saying!
Old enough to remember ZOWIE!I'm partial to ZOWIE! myself.
It's possible, but you'd probably have a higher percentage of split spots on a nonweighted base chip with weighted spot colors, yes.Edit: I'm told this design is not possible due to spot splitting. Please hold lol
What the primary motivator for this set? Bright colours and fun design or wanting custom clays?I shared with a couple members and their feedback was encouraging enough to share here. The primary motivator for this set is having a fun silly collection of chips to play with the siblings. I find myself a little tense and uneasy when we're playing with a set like BTP and my little sister is splashing the pot because of how fun it is to her. With these, I can relax and let them have a bit of fun without me being Mr. Lame. What the primary motivator for this set? Bright colours and fun design or wanting custom clays?
If its the former then I would consider doing a custom set of ceramics if its the later then I would probably consider revisiting your colour choices. Not sure if you have a CPC sample set but the look and feel is different to all the brightly coloured Paulson sets you have in your possession.
Also with custom CPCs its not going to be a simple matter of selling them if you dont like them like you have been with your paulson sets. Inlay art aside, the chip itself need to be something you have to really love beyond the initial excitement of another new set, which includes the mold.
At the end of the day you are going to do what you want but there is plenty of experience here on PCF that you can learn from to make sure you will love your customs for many years to come.
Looking forward to seeing how it all develops.
Yes, the Atlantic Club H/S Tournament chips and Atlantic on the Arnold mold.Do you have A-mold samples?
