ImCrossland’s Chipping Journey! (Lol) (8 Viewers)

The primary motivator for this set is having a fun silly collection of chips to play with the siblings. I find myself a little tense and uneasy when we're playing with a set like BTP and my little sister is splashing the pot because of how fun it is to her. With these, I can relax and let them have a bit of fun without me being Mr. Lame.
Cards Mold FTW!

I'm happy with the color choices considering the vibrant options available. If I were running a casino or poker room, they would have been more "traditional" but they're primarily for the family who love bright shit like me. I have a number of CPC sample sets and have a pretty good idea of what the kids will like playing with.

The relative cost of a complete set of custom CPC makes it very unlikely I will not "like" them. Plus, it allows me to sell some more expensive Paulson's and essentially save money on this deal (at least that's how I rationalize it).

At the end of the day, the chips were made for the audience at home, rather than the audience online. Was still excited to share and hopefully give some others another example to learn from when building their own personal sets.
Well said “Mr. Lame!”
Respect for sticking to your guns! ADA BOY!!

If only there was a C - Mold.

Since your theme involves a prince and ruling, it could be a nice tie-in to use one of the crown molds.
My "original" idea was to get someone to design a "Big Top Joker" inlay, putting a unique twist on the original inlay with a carousel in decay and some other minor color changes.

I would still like to see that vision come to life but there are a number of requirements that will take time before completing that. I anticipate the only mold I would be satisfied placing this inlay on is THC.

Did you say “sell some Paulson chips”??

Legit enough idea that IMO is worth an actual CPC set, not a relabel. B-mold works.

Secured more than enough clowns to run the circus. Have some extras I will part with. If you are looking for these godforsaken things, you are welcome to PM me.

Extras
BTP $0.25 x 100
BTP $1 x 100

I hated being that guy but David generously allowed me to put off my order until I was satisfied with it. His update regarding 2022 price increases was all the reminder I needed to spend a day completing the set and designing an inlay.

I'm proud to show this one off and looking at my previous set, I can't thank David enough for his patience with me. I wanted to build a vibrant lineup that was flexible for all kinds of stakes but one that focused all attention on the workhorse chips.

With this being my first custom set, and more surely to come, I feel really good about it. I give you... Pegasus Card Room

$25 is fire, def my favorite! Curious why you chose a black $100 with Cali colors?
I tried everything I could to use Bright White but there was an increased risk of split spots if I didn’t use Dayglo spot colors.

Since I had pretty much exhausted all of those colors on the previous 2 chips, it didn’t look very good on the $100.

I tried to split the difference by using “Charcoal” rather than “Black” but it was pretty much the best I could come up with considering what I had to work with.

Nice work, I dig the simple inlay. You do the art yourself?
Thanks!

Yes, the inlay is my own. Not having used a designer before, I was worried the turnaround time might not be fast enough to get an order submitted before the end of this year. I didn't want that to weigh on any designer I solicited for their work so I hopped on the computer and put something together.

A professional will be doing the next one, though! Surfing through hundreds of fonts for hours on end is not fun.

If ur going with the A mold, get some 43 mm 500s and 1ks too to complete the set. Just a thought.
If I’m ever swayed into liking 43mm, they can be an add-on down the road.

Although it’s more a matter of patience over preference, I do really like the A mold. They resemble arrows to me pointing in 4 directions and with an “A” at the center of my inlay, it kind of blends pretty well.

To be fair, I can make up just about anything to fit my own narrative lmao

My first CPC set was A mold and I absolutely love the feel. Plus the mold is always installed so the turnaround time is great.
