safe to assume they make ones for 39mm also. Were these an option to purchase @Tommy ?
Probably, but shipping racks by air from Italy will add a lot of cost. They fit nice in these 67.7 racks I got from @dennis63 for my CPC chips.

Send them by sea. Probably get here just as fast.

Sea freight is not an option with Abbiati. I already asked. They use DHL and some other local carrier. (can't think of the name offhand)

Bloody hell no! I had an order from Australia that was shipped by sea (not by my choice) and it 3 months to arrive!
@Perthmike and I did a transaction pretty much at the height of everything being shut down and a set I bought from him slow boated from Australia to the states. It did finally arrive, no worse for wear, but it was quite a harrowing experience.

Sorry, I don't know how groups buy works exactly...I may be interested if EU members can avoid expensive shipping and customs fees. If abiatti is Italian (an EU member) non of us have to pay this additional cost. Is it possible?

Maybe some EU member can explain that to me!

Previous GB : chips were shipped to tommy if I’m right and tommy shipped them out to the members that were included. You’re point is valid , however you should know that it’s probably going to be the same method as before this time around. So you will have to deal with customs and shipping ;)

Unless someone organizes a EU group buy! Nothing stopping that, is there?

Very good point , however to meet their MOQ with the EU members only will be a hard task. The customs and shipping that the upcoming Gb brings to EU members is not bugging me personally , will be in no matter what. But I understand the point of view for some members that don’t look forward paying these fees

It's a pity, because that way, we have to pay customs in US (Tommy has to pay import fees), and later, we have to pay customs (again).
Well, we have to see the design and price before take any decission o_O

I guess it's a joke, isn't it?

The design will probably make you commit even though the issues you mentioned ;)

I believe during the last group buy Abbiati would only ship to one address and it had to be the purchaser’s address. No idea if that would be different this time but since they deal with casinos a lot it may be their protocol

By "organize an EU group buy", I didn't really mean to organize to receive a direct shipment of Tommy's group buy.
I meant, actually organize a separate group buy. Nothing stopping that, right? Or are the minimums just too big? Or are they not really selling to individuals still?

I'm a bit behind on the schedule I was hoping to keep for this GB, but @p5woody and I just started to scratch the surface the other day, so we are headed in the right direction now. It's definitely going to happen, just not as soon as I planned.

If you have a color sample set, drop me a PM. It would be nice to bounce ideas around with someone that can see the colors in person too.

The plan is to do both a cash and tourney set again. As far as the name, it's unknown at this time. I did (for a moment) think about bringing the Boardwalks out of retirement. Different location (or no location), different font, and of course, the chips are different.

Since we already did a Cali cash set with TCP set, I'm thinking non-Cali this time around. I'll probably do a poll, though, and see where it goes.

For the tourney set, I haven't decided on 2 color or 3 color chips yet. You can make 2 color chips work fine with the right colors. I am leaning toward using one mold style for the tourney set.

Chips size-wise, all 39mm for cash set. The tourney set can either be all 39mm, all 43m, or all 45mm. The 45s have a design on the ring that outlines the label, which is neat.
