Here’s my vote for 45mm tourney chips! Specifically, 3-color with the 4 wide spots. Everybody already has 43mm chips, we should spice it up a little! Also, @Tommy, I have an Abbiati color sample set and I can send you some color combos I’ve been in love with recently.

I’m still waiting on an abiatti sample set, but I think if there was any chance I’d order a set, it would be 45mm tournament chips.

Gold outer ring Boardwalk style would be pretty cool.

They do have that option, it's not the same material/process as BJ, but it can give a similar look. The downside is that it creates a double ring when used on molds that have the 2nd color injection ring around the label.
It can be worth it though

I must say , I like the holographic inlay. But if you really want to make the chips as casino like possible I do think tommy is right and just normal inlays is the better way to go. Maybe a holographic ring , but the whole inlay I think it’s too much

Minus the "casino" text, the logo isn't that bad.

I have these chip key chains from Matsui that I use for my slot keys. I do like the glitter (or foil) if it's done right, like behind certain design parts.

The white chip has gold foil with a matte finish. It's a nice look. I hate to admit it, but I think Matsui makes better labels. :bag:

Had convinced myself that I had finished my sets with 2 cash, 2 tourney and 2 limit sets. This 45mm thing has my curiosity piqued.

Only thing that I would like to see is the denoms on the outside part of the chip (instead of the casino name) so that relabelling is possible.

The non-custom inner ring options doesn't have all the values available. For example, the 45mm chips only have 10,000, 25,0000, and 50,000.

OVI is an option too. No idea what that would add to the cost.

Optically variable ink also called color shifting ink is an anti-counterfeiting measure used on many major modern banknotes, as well as on other official documents. The ink displays two distinct colors depending on the angle the bill is viewed at. Wikipedi

I think that gold is actually ink and not foil, with the matte finish. I agree Matsui's labels are nicer, especially for glitter (more options, and white print looks purer than on Abbiati chips).

Was about to post about OVI as well, would be an interesting option that hasn't been done!

In case the door isn't all the way shut on holographic decals yet, here's an example from Abbiati's brochure. :whistling:

I like the metric system better. Most of the world uses it. I think it is much simpler. I find it funny, though, is how big some of the electric plugs and outlets are in some countries.

I used to be judgemental about Americans who didn't understand the metric system, but I reminded myself that I should try walking 1.60934 km in their shoes before criticising them.

:D
(With apologies for the derail)
America certainly uses both systems.
Soda is sold in 12 ounce cans, or in 1 liter and 2 lliter bottles.
Milk is sold by the quart, half quart, or gallon.
Liquor is sold in fifths (one fifth of a gallon) liter, and 1.75 liter bottles.
It’s bizarre.
I’m no runner but as far as I can tell, though marathons and half marathons are measured in miles, the other races 5K, 10K are not.
We could go on and on, but we probably shouldn’t, here. But I’d say that though most Americans understand imperial measurements best, I think our measurements are actually blended with metrics somewhat evenly.

It’s a bit of a hybrid over here where both imperial and metric are used. Our electric plugs are big but we have 3 pin plugs. Think Europe, Asia and North America have 2 pin.

Also an amazing option, @Tommy are you sure we couldnt get something like this if enough people were down? We almost did the holographic inlays for the last GB if I remember correctly

Obviously the added cost of a holographic inlay would influence a lot of us, however much that is.
