Call me crazy, but I love these five chips.. As much as I love the powerful neon pop that the Matsui WPS chips have, these are kind of calming colors that would make for a great set (T25 - T5000)

Most likely not because it adds about 60 cents USD (at the current 0.83 usd = 1 euro rate) to each chip.

It's similar ink that is used on currency. There are some videos on youtube for OVI (or color-shifting ink)

Been a few days since I'd looked this thread. Lots been happening!

I have to acknowledge what a cool opportunity this is to have some awesome designers work something up, have the chance for feedback into the design, and to be able to reap the benefits at a nice price point. I have faith that the process is going to result in an end product that is truly amazing!

Would there be a Euro re-shipper to avoid the chips to go from Europe to US and then back from US to Europe and then subject to import fees + additional shipping fees ?

I guess it'd be possible upon a certain quantity ordered by European members, right ?

Tommy has addressed this as I already brought this up. Unfortunately, there is only one place that Abbiati will send these chips ordered on Tommy's account and that is to the state of Delaware.


It appears that you Euro chippers will have to look at doing your own group buy with your own designs and with a Euro-based account. It's not ideal but it is Abbiatis policy. Surely there are enough non-US-based chippers between here and the french site to put together a group buy. If it does happen please keep me posted.

Its 1000 chips per denomination to order from what I remember

Still WIP. I keep thinking about the cost for two custom inner rings which will be about $6K. I don't think we are going to be able to spread that and keep the cost per chip under $2.75. These new style 45mm Lucky 8 chips are an option for the tourney chips. Decent size label, and still plenty of chip base. I'm going to inquire about the price for those to do some comparisons.

The frac is nice , but all the other denoms 3 colors IMO instead of 2. Will look so much better in contrast and stacks. And price will not differ that much

The Boardwalk group buy was two color on the 5c - $100 and they are glorious. Don't underestimate the two color chips.

Yeah they almost all were 2 colors , however some denoms are 3 if I’m correct.
I think for the $20 and $100 3 color would be greattt
