We are tweaking the AFP font to better match the actual one.
Since the cash set poll was close, I will put up one more poll to finalize that set. There are going to be 2 choices. Logo and Denom AND Logo, Denom, and black AFP text. The color matching AFP text was a bit too much.
I think less is more with the Tourney set, so I photoshopped out the birds to see how they looked. I like it. Clean and simple.
We are trying to determine if printing a gold gradient for the denom text and logo base is the best choice because I'm not sure how that would turn out. The only time I remember doing that was for the faux glitter ring on the BW chips. It didn't pop as much as I would have liked, but at the time, it was acceptable for the look we were going for and really the only option.
The gold gradient might be ok for just the logo base, but I would like to try a different color for the denom as that is what our eyes will be drawn to the most.

I don't think I'm color blind...but I have a hard time seeing the font on the T5000, so maybe I am a little color blind. I mean, I can "see" it, but it's not very clear, because of the colors/contrast. Just to consider.

Also, to bring everyone up to speed, this GB is only for the Park Place chips. Next year, I will do an add-on order for both The Crown Plaza and Park Place chips. Anyone can participate, but the cost will be at the original GB prices (or higher if prices change). The extra funds collected for the one-time costs that the original GB members paid will be divided equally and given back to them.
ABOUT PAYMENTS
Originally @liftapint volunteered to help with collecting payments (TY Mel!) for the Park Place GB, but I think it would be much easier if I do it myself. So I will be collecting payments when the time comes. There are a lot of new tax laws in place, so payments must be Friends and Family as they normally are, but if someone makes a mistake and sends it as a Good and Services payment (it happened about 5 times on the CP GB), you'll have to pay tax because I will be charged tax on that payment. So please double-check before you send the payment.

are you talking about the writing on the inner ring? Looks very clear to me but I can easily understand how anyone with any level of Red/Green colour blindness would struggle.

Depending on when we can finalize the designs, I'd like to get payments collected and the order placed by the end of May. Abbiati closes for 3 weeks in August and reopens in Sept, so the sooner we get it to them, the better for us.
Did I miss where you place your order for these? The first post is just some random pictures.

I want to help everyone, including myself, get a better idea of what these may end up costing. The currency exchange rate plays a big part. It was much better for the first GB.
Playing around with the numbers using the exchange rate today, the chips are $1.91 for 2 color (25c only) $2.15 for 3 color (all other chips) before the one-time costs are added in.
So on a 30,000 chips order, that comes out to 28 cents per chip before re-shipping.
$1.91 + $0.28 = $2.19 ppc (2 color chips)
$2.15 + $0.28 = $2.43 ppc (3 color chips)
Everything above is subject to change but hopefully, this helps.

That's super helpful Tommy, thank you. I added a few extra chips to my original order post as a result, hopefully it's ok that I edited my original post.
I asked this in the tourney poll thread before it got closed. Can pics please be posted of the spot pattern on the rolling edges?

Correct, these chips have labels that can be replaced. A few of us relabeled $100s to T25Ks on the last GB.
Oh, I guess that makes me wonder: will this art be available to make other labelling options, like bounty and rebuy chips? Sorry if I'm asking already-answered questions, this is just my first GB and I'm kind of excited to see what the possibilities are!

Abbiati isn't going to make tourney chips to be used with the cash set and vice versa. We already talked about it. I also don't want to delay the GB anymore going back to the design stage as we are already behind the schedule I wanted to keep.
