Inner ring sets are essentially out of range for individual buyers because of the fixed costs. Seems like a missed opportunity to not spread those costs in a group buy and get all the bells and whistles that would be too cost-prohibitive otherwise.
That looks like a mix of 43mm Bud Jones V8s and 39mm Bud Jones S2s, I don't know of any American casinos that use Abbiati chips, only European ones (and those are few and far between too).Since you live in Florida, you might want to check out the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, FL. Pretty sure they're using them.

I think the Crown Plaza chips were in the $2.30 each range.I may have missed it but how much are these a piece?
One thing to keep in mind with wanting something like all denoms from 1 to 25k is Abbiati's MOQ, (minimum order quantity) which I think was around 1k chips per denom/design. Failure to order enough chips for a particular denom results in a hefty surcharge (somewhere around $1k USD per denom under MOQ iirc).Interested in a nice designed Abbiati set
However, I don't understand why there is so much passion for colorful patchwork designs
Aesthetics also simply come from the poker chips stacked all together, with the possibility to easily count them from a distance.
I am more in favor of a pure design, a clearly dominant primary color with a secondary color in edge spot (or two colors but discrete then), the respect of the main color conventions (25 = green, 100 = dark ...), with possibly a progressive denom (number of edge spots, appearance of a third color in the high denom)... Looking at the big picture, it might be interesting to have denominations ranging from 1 to 25k, and two extra no value denominations (useful for fracs, higher denoms, bounty and/or action clock chips). I can help to design the chips and the label.
Somewhere between the Empress Star and the Club Pierre Charron (see attached pictures)

slackerMe too, I haven't bought chips all year!
I've got enough playable sets so it's difficult to justify another chip set (look at my wallet!), but for an Abbiati group buy I'll have to pull some money from under the mattressslacker
The Abiatti colors are so fantastic, I’d hate to see the potential wasted on a tribute set. Easter egg tournament colors for the win!
Does this also mean that there will be potential add on for the Crown Plaza group buy?It seems like there is enough interest for GB. I spoke with Abbiati the other day, and their operations are all up and running, so that's good.
If everything goes as planned, I think an April order would be about right. Is there someone willing to collect payments this time around? Check, Zelle, and bank transfers will be the only payments I'll be accepting.

@Tommy I've got some sample sets of the Crown Plaza cash and tournament set I'm willing to send around like we did for Sun-Fly and the cards mold GBs. Any preference on where that is organized?
Anyone else interested in helping, would probably be good to have someone in Canada so we didn't have to go international? I've got 2 sets of cash and 2 sets of tournament so I can in theory do 4 sets, 2 of each, or I can do 2 full sets.
I hadn’t noticed any on mine. Got a picture?I was part of the original Crown Plaza GB. Did anyone else notice the imperfections on the sides of the chips?
