Is Gorilla Gaming a fraud?? (4 Viewers)

What do you mean by that? I'm great with the speedcloth, but if I ever wanted a custom design, I'm curious
It’s too plush. And the felt/hair is too long. Other people have complained about it. It’s even more plush/hairy than a pool table. It’s like carpet.

Gorilla Gaming isn’t a fraud. Seems like they have good products with good customer service…until they send a fellow vendor a cease and desist for slapping some USB ports under a table. All the brownie points go out the window when you pull a stupid stunt like that.

@upNdown

I second this. Imagine my disappointment when I received the table after I was assured I would not receive a plushy cloth. I hated the cloth! Couldn't even do that dealer thing where you expose and slide the flop (lol). A week after I received the table I order my Tchan cloth.

Funny thing is... On the other side of the hairy/plush cloth is the smooth side that would be great. Whatever.

Their premium felt is almost too nice. I wouldn’t order it again.
I agree, cards do not slide on it like they do on SSC. I ended up changing mine out. Me and my crew like the change…

I had the experience with it being more of a felt than a speedcloth with my first table. My second (ordered last year) is proper speedcloth and cards slide great. Same custom artwork on both.

Picture a Sasquatch. Put lipstick on it and give it a vocabulary not to exceed 12 monosyllabic words. Also, it has a predilection to eat it’s own feces followed by small smooth round rocks that are indigenous to his home state of Iowa.

Wait, are you saying that @Josh Kifer is Aunt Bunny*?

How can you tell if you’re being chased by a brown bear or a black bear?

Climb a tree.

If the bear climbs up after you, it’s black.
If it knocks the tree down, it’s brown.

Yes, Gorilla Gaming is a scam company. But they are probably not scamming you. Wait lists for a quality table are probably long everywhere right now.

I've been looking for a table and this is where I've been stuck when looking at the GG tables. I like the Illuminati Full table.

Since it has a light rail, I'm assuming this is the same as a raised rail, or is it just an LED light strip crammed in there to make it look raised?

Which option are you referring too that is plush/hairy? I was under the impression that a custom/premade design was still using Speed cloth.

How about the Casino Gaming Suede option? Anyone have experience with that?

The felt on my post above is fairly plush. Cards don’t really slide well. I’ve tried all kinds of plastic cards and the Bicycle Prestige cards do well but most others not so much. Desjgn cards it’s like a speed brake. In my opinion it’s the fabric though and not the cards.

1) I didn’t get the LED . I imagine it makes the rail raised which would be nice. You need to ask them.
2) I believe they offer three felts….speed, custom, + custom premium plush

Hey wanted to update here that they replied my email and my table will be finished soon. They also called me about the order. I don’t know how to delete the post but I’d like to confirm that Gorilla Gaming is responsive and trying hard to deliver the tables. I understand that they are pretty busy with the WSOP, hope my table could be delivered soon!

Change the headline if could to maybe “Gorilla Gaming Question” so this wouldn’t show up on a google search so negatively *suggestion*

Hey @Tommy …OP doesn’t know how to delete this thread (as he mentioned) and I’m not sure how active a user @kellyykeai will be, but maybe we should change the headline. It’s almost defamation to call/question someone a fraud.

It’s a good thread bc GG struggles to provide fast customer service during the WSOP but not sure fraud or scam should be in the headline for search results.

Not a fraud. Yeah it's good to provide timely communication/service with your customers, just shouldn't require being called out in a public forum to do the right thing. But at least they did after the fact. Just sounds like bad customer service. The little guy customer (OP) shouldn't be overlooked so as to please the big fish customer (WSOP).
