As I said, I don't see any limitations, other than on the sets, so what "spirit of the limits" would I be going against? In the initial sale, there were limits on total chips and percentages of certain chips, so only one order within the first hour was allowed. But I don't see any mention of that restriction in this sale.
Maybe I’m not following what exactly you’re asking. Are you talking about getting around the household limits by placing multiple orders? Or just getting an order in quickly to lock it up and then doing a second, unrelated order?

I think he is saying this sale does not have any restrictions when purchasing individual chips. For example, in this sale someone could purchase only promotional 25s if those were the only kind of chip they needed.

I believe this is standard for Jim's later sales as it provides an opportunity for people to add on or fill out sets they already have.

I'm so bad at this stuff, what would you all order?

-Small stakes, inexpensive cash set, .25/.50 to 1/2 would be what I want. (Not worrying about fracs obviously, with the group that plays .25/.50 I multiply the buy ins by 4 and we play as if we are playing 1/2)

-i like 600 chip sets (if they aren't 1,000 chips or up) because little birdcages are awesome

What should I order? 200 ones, 300 fives, 80 twenty fives, 20 hundos (just to have them) sound good or is there a better breakdown?
u can jus buy 1 rack of $25 and used them as 25c when playing in 25c/50c with the rest of the demo value remain the same and play 1/2 normally with the $25 as $25 chip

get 200/200/100/20 $1/$5/$25/$100 minimum and the rest 80 into the workhorse chip that you need

Funny how these chips sat readily available from middle of March without much excitement after the initial sale frenzy.

Now Jim takes the links down, goes on vacation, comes back and says he’s going to do a new sale on them and we get as excited as sharks when they smell chum in the water.

Moral of the story? Jim is a damned marketing genius!!

Second moral of the story?

I'm a noob here just trying to get a real (non-dice chip) set. This is my first ChipRoom Sale and I'm really hoping my clicker finger is fast enough to grab at least one of those T2000 sets...

Were these really readily available before now?

The second scenario. I have one denomination I want really bad, and then I want to put together a few other chips (mostly samples of each denomination) that aren't as critical, but will be more time consuming. My plan is to place the first order as quickly as possible, then go back and fill the second if possible. I'm just trying to confirm that I can place two orders within the first hour and the second one won't get rejected.

Edit: And also that they will be combined for shipping.

Frenzy was for snappers, 2$ chips, new primary chips, high denominations. All of them are sold-out from very long time.
If you read the original sale 3d, there was a lot of excitement for snappers and 2$, but small interest for 5$-25$ and primary 100$: all of them are available in large quantity. Maybe the rebate can help to clear the surplus.

Jim has allowed multiple orders to be combined for shipping in the past, as long as they aren’t used to get around limits.

Gee thanks for the clarification.

No. Just the $1,$5,$25,$100 and $500 have been available for purchase since March.

The tournament sets tend to go quick so be ready at 1:55 and hit the refresh button until it is live.

please please please nobody go too crazy on the used 500s i just want a barrel

The T10,000 Set is a dream set for me... but with a new baby on the way next month, its just a bit outside my price range.

I've never tried a T2000 tournament - with only 4 denoms, how well does a tournament like that play? Would it help or hurt if I bought some $1 chips to add to it?
I will argue to the death with anybody who thinks you need more than 4 denoms for a single table tournament.

Dibs on a 1-2 set and 100 $5 cleaned please. It will be my first real set and
That will give me enough to have a great
$1 / $2.
$2 /$5.

On the 1-2 set, just make sure it's worth it to you to pay a high premium for that rack of $2. If my math is correct, you are paying @ $3.15 each for them in that set vs. buying the others separately. I love those $2 chips too, but they are expensive. I would assume that there are not many of them available, so be ready with a backup plan if that 1-2 set sells out so you get those bargain chips that you really need for your game. Good luck, these sales are fun!

^this , also you can make a 1/2 set without a $2 chip. starting stack of 20 x $1, 21 x $5 , 4 x $25
