Interestingly Matsui don't offer a $20 but do have a €20.

The bottom set is HUBBA HUBBA, toss a black label on that B and ship it! Take my money!!!! (I don't carry about a $ at all it can be a unit, or it could be a Banananananananananana. I can even live with the flag frac, though I'd prefer pink or orange

This is my main issue with Matsui; I would prefer the value on the inlay for a cash set. I think many people would agree with me. So, with enough chips, paying the extra setup fee for different inlays could be viable instead of settling for "$25" or "20" without a denom symbol.

That gets costly. $215 per chip and that’s just the Matsui part.

The design element is part of the inner ring for that denomination. If you want the denomination to be 5, that is the design element you get. Or blank (no design element at all, like on the WSOP Horseshoe chips). Or you can design your own inner ring (like Tommy did with Abbiati), but it is something like $3500 per design.

TLDR - no, can’t change the design element.
That’s a shame…but still an amazing set of chips.

Now I’m curious how these are made, since changing such a small thing costs so much. @CrazyEddie do you happen to know? :ROFLMAO:

$2.00 per chip, plus re-shipping from you? In for 500-600 chips.

Is the yellow going to be a frac or a non denominated chip?

Frac is gonna be blue. There is no .25 so it will be without

I’m definitely in for modest cash and tourney sets, provided that other than the color schemes, these are the exact same base chips as in @liftapints GB.
Same chips

I forgot I had these. If CPC has a yellow problem then Matsui have a red problem, none of the reds are appealing to me.

Considering these breakdowns

Simple cash set for 1/2
200x 1
200x 5
80 or 160x 25
20 or 40x 100

Or

Cash set for either cents or dollars
200x 1
200x 5
200x 25
200x 100
200x 500
100x 1000

At 2 bucks per chip. This would be my order. If the price goes up I will have to re evaluate.

105 x frac (blue)
205 x 1
205 x 5
85 x 25 (would prefer a yellow 20, but not worried about it. I don't want to drive up prices)
25 x 100

Remember to get spare as well, also a MFB will usually only hold around 800+ chip cos of the weight limitations of 9 kg international

Anything above will required 2 MFB

I think you'll struggle to get more than 6 x 43mm Matsui racks in an MFRP (at least if you want any padding/protection!). If you're not wanting the racks then you might have a little more success.

So have you finalized a line up? I like the original Option A but can be flexible. The 43mm Horseshoe samples I got recently are amazing. The textured surface makes all the difference. Not slippery. I'm hoping these will basically be the same chips.

We are ordering the exact same chips from the WSOP group buy

This will be the final tourney design

I will put together a cash set with $ in the next couple of days as well
Is the cash set going to be the same thing with $s? Or completely different?

I REALLY dig these chips, but my OCD is nagging at me regarding the doodads between the denominations for the 1, 5, and 25. (1 being “further” in the “edge spot progression” than the 5 and 25. I know I’m insane when I use “” twice in the same sentence about chips)

I’m basically trying to convince myself, one way or the other, about this set. Then I remembered:

Wondering if people’s chipping goals have changed.

I acquired my cards mold set a few months ago and my players like them a lot.

I’m still looking to potentially pick up a clay (Paulson or CPC) cash set but am biding my time. What I thought this second set would be has morphed several times, but I’m leaning Paulson. There definitely won’t be a third set now, though.
Oh man, the dilemma. I’m definitely sticking with two sets only, which means I’m either forgoing my (currently) planned vegas live set or giving my cards mold set to a friend.

Good looking out, thanks!

Really debating on getting an 800ish chip tourney set. Do these have to be ordered in increments of 25 or how does it work?
