Game was tight and pretty bad, but I ran well and managed to make $800 before game broke

Grabning a bite to eat, on the list for 2/2/5 and the other 5/5/10 game

Calling raises to between $50-70 and whiffing multiway so just bleeding bit by bit

Game much better than the previous table, just need a hand, couple of these guys willing to stack off super light

We pickup in the SB facing a button straddle to 20, we call

BB is on tilt, he's rebought multiple times and been stacked by the same guy. He's been doing headsup 1k flips a few times also

He pots to 90, two callers, I repot to 470 with about 1k behind

He is the only caller

Not ideal but with the SPR and us blocking the NFD we rip it

He calls and we go twice

We hold against his KKJ4 on both boards and get the full double

We were down $1100 in this game (so $300 overall) but this turned it around

Managed +$1300 on the day. When a lot of folks work their asses off to make that in two weeks I feel pretty fortunate to be able to earn that in a single day.

Playing in bigger games with bigger buyins reminds me of this scene as I had to deal with the ramped up aggression

It's ok to lose to opponent, must not lose to fear!

The set holds and he triples through us, the other guy makes a better 2 pr to win side pot

Down $2500 on the day, universe is telling me to go home, not going to lose every dollar in my pocket today

Well, there is a silver lining on the dark cloud that was today. I only lost a single buyin in the 5/5/10 game. And the two guys that benefitted from it were in there with 44xx and playing for stacks with bottom set. So in the long run they're going to give it back, glad if I had to lose to anyone they were the receipients.
