Ooch, rough start. I raise pot on the flop here to $180 and get one caller who bet the flop

Spikes the perfect :ts: on the turn snd puts his ladt $400 in. I have 2nd nut straight. Plus turned a flush draw (that's no good if I hit) and top 2 pr which becomes a must call

He holds

REBUY!

Honestly I just can't stand PLO... too swingy for my tastes.... give me 20/40 or 40/80 hold'em any day...

To me this hand sums up your life as a professional Omaha player. Not that you did anything wrong, just that I think these situations are going to come up all the time. No way I could handle doing this for a living!

Question - I have seen you reference Asians and Cubans several times in your posts about hands. Do you play different against people you think are a certain race?

The two cubans are regulars in the game, play terrible and are known to collude (always sit in seats 1 and 6 to try and trap folks in the "Cuban sandwich")

Asian players have an image of being more LAG and likely to gamble, which has been my experience

Then you've got OMC which is typically a white older man who plays very tight

Generally I play more hands against the bad players, so they come up more frequently

But yes, I will stereotype a player based on first visual impressions and adjust as I gain more info

Actually, didn't rebuy this hand. Had guy covered, still had about 200-250 left. Got the last of it in with a slight equity edge holding the double s00ted 8864 but they flopped TJQ lol

Then I rebought

How did this hand play out?

Did this happen right after the beat and it was kind of an F it, let's gamble and try to triple up?

Trying to understand why this hand is worth flipping 50BB. Maybe I'm too nitty but I'm going to save these chips, reload, and find a better spot post flop to stack these casino donks.

I was button $5 straddle, BB was $10 restraddle

UTG aggressive gambler raised to $20, bunch of callers, I call

BB shorter stacked and aggressive repots, UTG repots, folds to me, figured my hand had decent equity and got it in

Ooch, lots of setups today

Have :as::ts::9s::8h: on a flop of :2d::7s::th:

Four ways in a raised pot, $100 in there

Checked to me on flop, I pot, only guy on my right calls

Turn :td:

Checks to me, I pot 300, he goes all-in for $465 total so $165 more to me

I call, he only goes once and has J776 and holds with a Q river, le sigh

Limp repotted :as::kd::qh::jh: and got it all-in vs :jd::8s::6h::5d: with some dead money

Went one flop, two turns and rivers, I scoop and back up over $700
You really should be printing money on these players playing that garbage. Embrace the variance and you'll make a small mint as long as you keep getting your money in well.

He got it in against AKQT on a QJT flop with AJ84 all hearts with two spades on the flop

Other guy flopped nuts AND had nfd, turns a K of clubs for the chop even though other guy freerolling him with nfd and top 2 pr
