My Journey As A Professional Poker Player (24 Viewers)

Sounds like textbook whipsawing and collusion. The poker manager has watched hours of footage and hasn't seen that????? If you can remember dates/times of some of these ridiculous hands and runouts might be a good idea to note those so they can review the footage more carefully.
 
It sounds like a combination of collusion/whipsawing and rungood. Without some solid evidence, I tend to doubt that there is card marking or dealer-assisted cheating going on.

Based on my limited understanding of PLO equities, it seems like there would be a substantial long-term edge for two colluding players to build big pots (especially preflop) playing extremely wide ranges against an isolated third player. They'll lose a lot, but they'll also pick up a lot of pots before or at showdown, they'll have a lot of memorable suckouts, and they'll probably realize a lot more of their combined preflop equity.

This thread has taken an interesting turn. But I agree that this analysis is by far the most likely explanation. Occam's Razor and all.

Exactly what I was trying to get at in my post last night. In a situation where one player (Anthony) is going up to the flop multiways against two other players that are colluding, the single player is always going to be behind preflop no matter the holdings.
 
I really don't think this has to do with marked cards. As the manager points out, the burn card is there for a reason. Knowing all your opponents holdings/foldings won't help either. I mean, who gets into a 80/20 scenario as the underdog? Plus its unreasonable to think they they are reading every card at the table. Player at seat 1 isn't in a position to read seat 8/9s (don't know how many players they sit) cards, and player in seat 6 can't signal player 1 every single card without looking like this...

We know for sure they signal each other. I have no clue if or what other shennanigans are taking place, but two months straight as a 70-80% favorite against these specific players who suddenly only run it once AND win everytime has my spidey senses tingling.

Something is going on. I can't prove it, I don't know what it is or how they are doing it, but something is off and I'm not playing their table

Would there be any interest in Jen coming to "rail" you, and keeping an eye on the Cubans for signals or other in-room shenanigans?

I know he's going to the gym more, and far be it from me to be one to throw stones, but I really don't think that running is something Anthony does much of...mall walking? For sure...running, not so much.
 
It sounds like colluding is happening (ban them for that) but I’m with the poker room manager, how could they know what cards are coming? They are just terrible players and have been hot, or at least that’s what you perceive...they are more then likely dumping any winnings back into the game after you leave.

Poker rooms are not in the practice of kicking people (aka customers). For instance, I saw a dude literally punch the poker room manager, get booked for assault, and return to the poker room a week later like nothing happened and that was before 'rona slowed down business. Therefore, I can't imagine that a casino would consider a ban on collusion as it's almost impossible to prove in a live game.
 
I guess it varies from casino to casino but I’ve seen players banned (some temporarily and others permanently) for breaking posted rules and verbal abuse of dealers.

Yeah, this has to vary wildly from room to room. If nothing else, it seems like a big liability concern to let this guy come back after assaulting an employee.

I'd say that's an exception and an example of a very poorly run business. Allowing a criminal back on the premises is opening up the business to liability issues. Not the least of which is subjecting that manager to a dangerous work environment. If another patron ends up being assaulted by that criminal the business would also be liable for that as well.

No doubt a cherry picked egregious example. However, I've seen enough of these cases to know its happens often and casinos don't want to limit their customer base. Hell, I saw a guy get thrown out from a poker table twice, and somehow ended up sitting at the table, buying in and got dealt in again. The floor/security was required to let him finish playing the hand per gaming law before throwing him out a 3rd and final time.
