I would really like to have a small set of those.
Maybe something like:
100x 0,50
100x 1
40x 2
10x 10

Do you know if it's possible to buy them at the cage? I live about 500km away from Paris and could combine a pickup with a sight-seeing-trip to the city.

El Dorado Resorts formally finalized purchase of Caesar's Entertainment Group. Any chance of casinos rebranding in some of the 18 states they have operations in? Especially from "non-chip-destruction" states?
$17.3bn, no less — wow!

Pretty low but a very slight chance some ED properties rebrand to fit the CZR properties. El dorado renamed themselves to Caesars Entertainment, so if anything I can see an El Dorado dinky regional casino rebranding under Caesars marketing umbrella or something. But again, I’d reckon there won’t be many rebrandings. I also don’t know which states are non-destruction states lol

What I think is a better chance for rebranding is the casinos that ED will have to sell for regulatory reasons. According to the article I read (https://finance.yahoo.com/news/eldorado-finishes-17-3m-buyout-190604529.html), they will be selling at least the following:
- Ballys Atlantic City (but keeping Bally's LV)
- Site (or sites) in Kansas City, MO
- South Lake Tahoe
- Shreveport, LA

Likely selling sites in
- Evansville, IN
- Elizabeth, IN

Maybe selling sites in
- Hammond, IN
- Vegas strip

So that's anywhere from 4-8 casinos that will be changing hands in the next year or so. Not sure how much rebranding each property would have to do, but I would think those would be more likely candidates than casinos staying with ED.

Did a quick wikipedia search; here is my best guess at the list of casinos in those sites (leaving out Vegas):

- Harrah's North Kansas CityNorth Kansas City, Missouri
- Harrah's Lake TahoeStateline, Nevada
- Harveys Lake TahoeStateline, Nevada
- Eldorado ShreveportShreveport, Louisiana
- Tropicana EvansvilleEvansville, Indiana
- Caesars Southern IndianaElizabeth, Indiana
- Horseshoe HammondHammond, Indiana

- Ballys Atlantic City (but keeping Bally's LV)
- Site (or sites) in Kansas City, MO
- South Lake Tahoe
- Shreveport, LA
Bally's AC already sold to Twin River in April and the El Dorado Shreveport also sold to Twin River a few months before that. The Harrah's and Horseshoe names are only licensed to Caesar's, they don't actually own the Harrahs, Vici does.

So I guess Shreveport for sure, but not because of this present sale. And I doubt they change the name of Bally's, since Caesars Entertainment still retained Wild West and the sportsbook. Plus, it's kinda an institution

Nice Raiders felt @ M Resort...maybe some collector giant inlay Raiders chip.

...does this mean Vegas has standardized dealer pulls on soft 17? I don’t see a line above or below the insurance announcement regrading dealers and 17s, and the only reason I can fathom is because it’s not even a question. If so, that friggin sucks

Last I checked, the M Resort stands on a soft 17, offers a $50 double deck game where players can double down before and after splitting, and can re-split aces. There is also a six-deck shoe game that adds surrender. Most Vegas casinos hit a soft 17 in low limit games, and you are "happy" to get 3:2 on a Blackjack instead of 6:5.

Basically how it is in AC, then. The number of shops offering any of the formerly-standard rules is few and far between. At least by me, RW Catskills plays 6 decks at all limits and in Pennsylvania the GCB forces house rules of standing on dealer S17, 3:2 payout, and late surrender.

Sucks everywhere else has gone to the birds :(

It would have to be posted - but most likely it's on a table sign.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned these two casinos yet, but these are great looking harvest chips in my opinion and relatively new. I believed the casinos changed names and have only been open a few months so the chips should be relatively new?

Anyone live in Missouri?

Century Caruthersville is a very small casino, like 8 blackjack tables and 1 craps table. I was there in early June and got a few single playing some blackjack, and they didn't want to give me any chips. Maybe after Covid it will be a different story, but this did not seem like a good place to harvest unless you were going to do it slowly from a table game.

Adding to this, Twin Rivers has rebranded both Casinos it recently acquired in the aforementioned acquisition. Isle of Capri Kansas City MO and Lady Luck Vicksburg MS has been rebranded to Casino KC and Casino Vicksburg respectively. Hopefully, they make their way to PCF sale sooner rather than later.

Given Twin Rivers's tendency to rebrand casinos upon acquisition there is a high likelihood that Ballys will also be rebranded should that deal go through.

Only time will tell if more chips become available. fingers crossed.
