OMC explains hero's line perfectly.
The answer is still hero has to get the money in. Waiting for a better opportunity this short stacked is also a path to defeat.
The only debate is whether or not checking or betting best accomplishes this goal.
But obviously, Hero's strategy is flawed to be at this point.
Hey, hero is my 7 year old daughter who is still learning Be niceChanges absolutely nothing from my previous comment. Hero has now missed 3 chances to get it in and is ridiculously pot stuck and can't see it.
(Hero has played this so poorly I find myself hoping hero suffered some horrifying one outer at this point.)
Old Man Coffee. The guy who brings only one buy in to the casino and only opens with super premium hands, sees monsters on every flop.As a lot have said, bring that short stacked it should've been all in pre. But interested to see how it plays out.
Though when Im short stacked (unless I have a very premium hand), I don't like to shove over the top of someone's open. I'd rather be there first one getting chips in.
Dumb question - what does OMC mean when referring to the player?
Hero is OMC-lite.
Hey, hero is my 7 year old daughter who is still learning Be nice
Not every OMC is an OM with CWell this is dirty pool. Obviously one of these statements is dishonest.

Now that we have more info on the villain, I would raise to 5BB. Will villain even know it’s illegal? If villain complains, she won’t get any chocolate sauce on her ice cream, unlike all the other villains who appreciate what hero does for this family.Hero leads out again for 2 BB.

Then I misread that. He’s the hyper-aggro guy, right? I was frustrated that I had no cards to push back against hiM last night.I'm not personally in this hand. Beaker, villian is DH on my Mavens site, for context.
Yup thats him. Then I misread that. He’s the hyper-aggro guy, right? I was frustrated that I had no cards to push back against hiM last night.
As hero stomps up the stairs, dad yells “YOU’RE THE ONE WHO CALLED WITH THE LOSING HAND!HERO freaks out and yells "DAD, WHAT DO I DO? WHAT DO I DO?"
DAD says "One player to a hand."
"HE RAISED ME AND IF I CALL ITS BASICALLY ALL MY CHIPS AND I HAVE A GREAT HAND."
"Sounds like you need to go all in then. Its bedtime anyway. Double up or go to bed."
HERO shoves remaining few bigs.
Villian flips KK.
HERO misses the two outer on the river.
"ITS ALL YOUR FAULT I BUSTED DAD. YOU'RE A TERRIBLE POKER PLAYER."
HERO stomps up to bed.
DAD posts hand to PCF to get advice that shows that no matter how you play it (other than perhaps small 3_betting pre flop and getting 4 bet, potentially having a chance to fold) you weren't going to get away from this one. DAD hopes multiple people will post something in that vein.
