Well I busted mid tourney but @longflop managed to best 21 other players and win his own championship. Those of us who host know this is no easy accomplishment!
He also let us play cash until 1:30am even though he had be coaching ice hockey at 7:00 am this morning. Hell of a host!

Heading in the right direction.
What was nice for a change was that I never dipped below my initial buy in. At my peak I had taken my 100 up to about 270. The last orbit of SOHE was NOT my friend. I ended up cashing out at 189. A win is a win. I'll take it. On top of it, @mike32 fed us ribs and slaw. His ribs are the best I have ever eaten! I played from 530 until 130. I laughed so much it should be illegal. Thanks for a great time bud.
Looking forward to next SAT when we celebrate my 50th!

It was a great time. I looked like a maniac early lol. I won a couple of hands of the first orbit of NLHE. The last hand I pick up 7/3 suited. Of course I raise it up pre flop. Per the norm most call. I hammer the flop with two pair and kind of got paid off.
I think we laughed all fricken night. It was a great time.

Yes and yes. Hasn't seen much action yet so hard to speak to long term durability yet. Some other folks on here would be able to though.

Couple of shots from tonight's inaugural hybrid cash/tourney event at a friend's house (also the debut of the PCF table topper). 20th Century chips in play:
Ended up taking it down -- $40 event buy-in ($25 in chips), in for $125, out for $279. Six players and 23 x $10 add-ons ($380 total on table).

.50/.50 Euros NLHE at the Athenian Owl Club last night, most of the time 8-handed on a 7-player table, cramped but fun. Meant to end around midnight, since it was a Sunday evening, but lasted till 4AM Monday
Picture taken 6-handed, around 2 AM. Host on the rear right side, in navy blue-black.
2 scotch whisky and 4 wine bottles consumed on top of (admittedly light) beer and coke. Made sure there was no Bourbon, to avoid getting too drunk myself.
