It was the classic hang around and hang around then get super hot during the final two levels. I almost felt guilty winning club championship when I set the whole thing up. I said almost.
I hate to kick the guys out, but figured it was time for bed with the early start. Also donking off a buy in 30 minutes during the cash game reaffirmed it was a good choice.

Crazy hands tonight. Playing $1/3 with two pots well over $1,200. One of our consistent losers went home up $1,100. He will be back.

Last night I hosted my Tuesday night group for a very small six-player tourney and won for the second week in a row.
Tuesday nights are always smaller when I host. The regular host is typically out of town or unavailable, we have a couple of players who won't come to my house on a weeknight because it's "too far," and one player is unable to climb the stairs to my poker room and doesn't like to ask for assistance. So right off the bat, I'm four short in a game that averages 10-15 players.
That said, we had a great evening, and there was even a small cash game afterward. I took down a massive $8 win!
Also thanks to @tw1nturb0 for making it out last night! It was a pleasure to meet you, and I hope to see you at future games.
