It's still a week away, but I've got an STT for 10 players coming up on the 13th. I'm so excited I have got all the chips ready to go with racks for the players.

I'll be pulling out the Stars for this event. T10K with Rebuy and Bounty included.

I'll be getting some cool jetons into play, along with 4 color Desjgn bridge size decks for the first time (for my group, not for me, I prefer bridge, just seems poker is more popular).

@MrCatPants palace of poker had lovely (leaded I think) yellow King's Casino fracs in play and my first experience of Fournier cards.

It was a roller coaster of an evening! In for $40, chipped up to >$150 (in the pic), felted, bought back for $120 and managed to cash out just about in the black for the night. Lots of japes, quads, suck-outs and laughter. And 5 pints of Guinness!

First time hosting tonight. Initially had 9 players on the hook but the game ended up being 6 handed which wasn’t bad. First time putting the Milanos and Desjgn in play which were both a hit. Also nothing like someone hitting a 3 outer on you to get you back into the swing of things. As Hyman Roth said, “This is the business we’ve chosen.”

Unfortunately, no action pics. But I did break this set out along with my blackjack table last night to help raise an extra $820 for Team Broken Earth - Vancouver, a local group of volunteer medical professionals looking to help fund their trip to Guatemala for medical missions.

Great set Berny, with an interesting selection of denoms. What did your starting stacks look like?

Great set Berny, with an interesting selection of denoms. What did your starting stacks look like?

We only used the $500, $1000, and $2000 for blackjack. Starting stack of $20000 was simply 10x $1000 and 5x $2000. Minimum bet $1000, Blackjack pays 3:2 so a few $500s were on hand. 20 minute round to see who can grow their stack the highest. Top 5 on the leaderboard of the night got prizes.

Some highlights:
-Big winner of the night did it all in 10 minutes. Bought in late in the final round for initial stack of $20K. Built it up to $34K with about 2 minutes left to go, 2 hands remaining. Doubled up twice to bring final stack to $136K and top of the leaderboard!
-One ballsy guy bet his whole stack of $19K and got blackjack, instantly growing his stack to $47.5K and continued building slowly to $65K and 5th place.
-One lucky lady got Blackjack 3 times in 6 hands!
-Insurance was offered at 2:1 about 4 times during the night. Dealer had Blackjack every single time.
