I get that a lot of people prefer jumbo index. I can understand. I don't like them, but I understand. But 4 corner cards? You monster!

I personally prefer poker size, but it's far from a deal breaker.
As a son of a Left-hander, I completely understand 4-corner index. Most people pinch with their weak hand, and move chips with their dominant hand.

I'm not a fan of 4-corner index, but it is far less egregious than forcing someone to play cards "backward", just because of tradition.

Its software called “the tournament director” it’s definitely worth it to get
The nuts for homes games. It's one of those tools which can basically do anything. If you want to invest the time, you can make it do some pretty cool stuff. Mine is somewhat twinked out, but nothing compared to what other's have done. I don't really have a good feel for their out-of-the-box easy-mode stuff as I didn't use it.

Edited - I guess it was too subtle without the pic

Another fun Wednesday night cash game! Played a whole mess of different games, including Badugi! Was up over $100 in profit but finished the night up just over $60.

Badugi is the poker equivalent of "chasing the dragon". Did you play this with pot limit betting? Even fixed limit, this game is like lighting money on fire.

We play it single draw no limit with a $2 bring in.

I disagree. The game is high variance for sure, much like 2-7 triple draw, but there is a lot of skill to be had in Badugi.

I can see how the fixed limit aspect of it would bring about less skill being required and more playing bingo than a pot limit or no limit. Playing single draw would take the nut peddling out of it and make it interesting...

Oh, and we typically deal five cards. It's generally a quick orbit which can be nice compared to some of the longer dealers choice games we play.

-Jumbo indexes are a must for people approaching 50, let alone over 50. Google Presbyopia.
By the way, an Ambassador, in Greek, is called Presbys (senior citizen or f*ckin old man). An Embassy is a Presbeia.

-4 indexes are a must for left-handers, and especially crippled left-handers (who have been forced to use their right hand, or "God's hand", to write, back in medieval times).

-Only Poker size is wide enough to accommodate both of the above requirements, although bridge size is easier to shuffle; you can still use a dirt-cheap auto-shuffler.
