I think 100 was perfectly fine but there are also over 300 $1s so it’s easy for a single player to call and grab a quarter or to for change if needed - it can be a nightmare if multiple players call and all need change.

I made sure to get ALL the fracs on the table with the initial buy ins, then did rebuys and add ons with $1s and a few $5s and eventually just $5s, which I think helped as well.
Hearddat. Got 200 5cents, players like a barrel and its not so bad, just chip up a bit during breaks, not a very serious game.

Forgot to take pictures of the friday's night horse race, but got some pictures of the tournament and cash game.

Game over. In for $100 out for $232.

Learnings: Breakdown of the Ugly Bicycles is perfect for 25c/50c. Shuffle behind FTW! Gassers are great! Barrington’s too! Thanksgiving weekend might be an annual game. Great to have @Rbonus012 as always. Not a single “what’s this worth?” question, and minimal change requests with just 100 fracs and 320 $1s.

I really enjoyed hosting - can’t wait to do it again!View attachment 1029990
Great looking setup, my friend. Hope I get the chance to see it in person one day.

Thank you! I’ve benefited greatly in every aspect of this setup from knowledge I’ve gained here - table, felt, chairs, chips, cards, buttons, set breakdown, game management, and more!

You’ve got an open invite if you ever happen to be in my neck of the woods. I’d be happy to host you or cross paths at a meetup sometime.

Waitin' for the players.
1st game with The Bank set.

Hi Kid,

I really like your hot stamp.

Is it rude, or against the rules, for me to ask about how much the hot stamped costed?

One day I hope to make a similar hot stamp but a Chinese dragon or dragon head. Just wanted to get an idea of what I may be getting into. I know of course it varies based on the the colors and spots and molds. I would think of getting a circle square level 1.

Hi,

I'll have to look at my invoice as I don't know the exact figures by heart.
That's a safety mechanism. I bet very few chippers know how much their sets cost. Not remembering is smart, because you can't mutter the price in your sleep and tip off your spouse as to how much you actually spent.

I know +/- how much I paid in total but not the details anymore (stamp setup fees, ...).

Thanks Kid! This is really helpful to me so I can "guess-stimate" what my set may cost in the future. And I think those custom die / hotstamping pricing are also somewhere on the CPC website, the 150 for the custom die rings a bell.
And again, your bull logo gives me hope that a dragon or dragon head is very possible once I work up the scratch.
