Official Home Game Pics Thread! (94 Viewers)

Finally got a photo of the home game! Just so happened to be with the new set of chips. We play a friendly .05/.10 with $20 buy-in. Played with the Faded Spades because the red and green backs matched the Christmas theme, but they were pretty slippery all night. Going back to the KEM's or Desjgn's next game. Everyone went home with a box of some of my wife's Christmas cookies and I ended up cashing out for $60. Pretty good night all around.

Forgot to mention that a few of the people at my table still insist on playing with cheat sheets. Makes it super easy to fold post flop when I see one of them trying to sneak a glance.

I just WTFed out loud. You guys just spread food all over your playing surface? Potato salad and meats and containers just raw dogging it like that?
Love the Cajun Cup chips!!
It was freezing balls outside and mom and 2 yo are inside.

So we pounded that shit right out in the shack. Just a tiny room full of hungry men tearing into deliciousness.

But in all seriousness, there was a strong warning and much care to not spill.

That being said, @RocAFella1 did spit wine all over the table later that evening due to laughter. Damn choco balls.

2 full tables, good people every Friday.

Calgary Nationals in play. I’m on my 2nd buy-in. Ran K-high flush into the nut flush. :(

An Elks club, best poker group (aside from meetups) ever! Most of us have been playing together about 15 years.
My grandpa was a knights of Columbus and for a while I was looking forward to joining them until I learned about their political leanings. Sucks. I was looking forward to joining a men’s club as an old man.

You're that triggered by spending a few hours with people who vote differently than you do? You probably play poker with some who do right now, but you just don't know it. Besides, not all catholics are liberals. Although I suppose in that part of CA most are.

I can’t blame him. I prefer to be around like-minded people as well.

Triggered? No. I can’t pay/join a men’s group that actively campaigns against things that I believe strongly in. Playing cards and taking peoples money is different. I left the Catholic Church when I was in high school.

.25/.50 got splashy. Bud Jones got some love tonight. In for 40. Out for 82.

High hand of the night:

Goes check-check on the flop. AQ checks raises turn, A9 shoves, AQ snaps.

My KQs goes all in pre. JJ folds. K9 calls. Bad beat of the night, K9 catches a river straight.

My big hand of the night on double board bomb pot. Caught flush on top board and river top pair on bottom to take it down.

Was happy to finally get the BJ v7 back in play again after eliminating the suction/vacuum - they handle like a dream now. Players had a great time being able to shuffle them and enjoyed them as much as Paulsons.

Shortly after the photo had been taken, my tendency to gamble resulted in my being felted.
Stuck with my semi - reckless approach for the duration, and came out on top at the end of the evening. In for $250, out for $629.

As an aside, my group consumed 87 wings and 16 brats over the course of the evening. A good time was had by all, even those whose wallets were a little lighter at the end of the evening. I do not deserve to live this good.

Enjoy the holidays and your families.
