Good turn out on a Sunday evening for some .5/.10 action. Played mostly NLHE with some PLO in there. 4 of us bought in for the $40 max and 3 were in for $20. 2 re-buys/add on’s for $20 each.

Pic below is my FIL making a $1 bet into a .15 cent pot from UTG. He’s been saying he is card dead and has already had people folding to his raises in a few pots. After he throws in the over bet he puts his hand over his mouth and is leaning towards the table. Action folds to me in the BB and I see pocket Jacks. I call putting him on AA KK or QQ. Flop comes T56. I check he bets $1, I call. Turn brings me a third Jack. I check he bets a $1 and I raise $3, he calls. River is a brick and I donk lead $5 and he calls. I table my set and he shows AA.

Dude with the hands up is a new player to the game. Pretty experienced player who talks a lot. This flop I hit top pair with a J and he calls the bet and says “I need one card….” Next card is 8h putting 4 to the straight flush on the board. He takes a look at his cards for a second and raises. I fold telling him he must be on a strait flush draw. He confirms and we rabbit hunt to see he would have made his straight flush. Glad I folded and got a little read on his speech play.

The homie played his first poker game and we took a pic of his first dragged pot. He had 88 hold up against 77 or something like that.

High hand of the night:

Goes check-check on the flop. AQ checks raises turn, A9 shoves, AQ snaps.

My KQs goes all in pre. JJ folds. K9 calls. Bad beat of the night, K9 catches a river straight.

My big hand of the night on double board bomb pot. Caught flush on top board and river top pair on bottom to take it down.

Was happy to finally get the BJ v7 back in play again after eliminating the suction/vacuum - they handle like a dream now. Players had a great time being able to shuffle them and enjoyed them as much as Paulsons.
How did you get rid of the vacuum?

Thanks John and Karen
Everything was fantastic like the usual!!!!

Feel like you are going to want that thing on something with wheels. Or you are going to get a hell of a shoulder workout.
Gotta update my shuffle tech post, but I didn’t think I was going to have it in time for tonight’s game. Making do for tonight. But I would definitely agree with you, not ideal.

Wow. As much of a pain it was to get the shuffle tech in time for this game, it was well worth the effort and $$$. The game went so much smoother and we played at least twice as many hands. During the night we saw quad 4s, quad 5s, quad Queens and a Royal flush

We had our Charity Christmas Tournament / Ugly Christmas Sweater night this past Saturday. It was a fun evening with lots of great sweaters and poker! I ended up finishing 2nd for the night in the tournament and the sweater contest. I thought I had a lock on first but I guess @TravNasty lucked out that there were a lot of Office fans in attendance.

Here is @TravNasty
