I once had a dream about hosting a "Frank's Series of Poker" lineup of poker tournaments in a casino-like basement with 5 or so tables. This was a tad smaller than that but was it ever satisfying:

This dream happened long before I became a chipper. I never really thought I'd own a set of customs but after a fair bit of thought these seemed like the perfect chips to alter.

Many thanks goes out to our wonderful site vendors (and some not really vendors but they had some awesome chips made so they still get props in my book ;)):

Nice table, nice cards, nice chips and good company. Lots of fun. I ended up taking it down too.

Only improvement I could consider now is adding a shuffler since I'm the dedicated dealer. Pretty pricey and I probably don't host enough yet. Had help shuffling at least so it was pretty smooth.

No chippers at this game but I'd say they appreciated the setup. The table certainly got the most comments.

Thanks for the invite!

It's nice to see them all in play! Now, if only I could see them in play in person :sneaky:

Yeah... I've heard that one a bit. For two tables to work I might need to take player measurements  :ROFLMAO:. Another 8 player table in the den would be a bit tricky.

This one was a different crew. Having experience as a casino supervisor I think you would have been twitching the whole game. Was definitely lenient with some rules. I wanted to be more firm but it felt too harsh for some of these guys. Eventually...

I'm having another game in about a week with a similar but different crew. I don't even think I'm going to use a timed blind structure for this one because some hands might take a whole blind level lol. It's mostly socializing and some want to play poker more than others, can't take it too seriously. I think inevitably each time we just decide on the fly when the blinds will go up lol. Will probably be based on hands played and players left to have at least some sort of structure.

When I host a game similar to all the others we play in together I will certainly invite you and a bunch of others I neglected!

Getting set up for tonight. We are going to try out a mystery bounty format for the first time. Should be fun.

Starlite TRKs in play last night for a small little quick tourney at work with 2023 WSOP Jumbo faced cards. Got 3rd place in this one and won $8, letss go!

Everyone loved the Starlites, got compliments that these are probably the nicest chips that I have in my collection! They just don't make them like they use to..

Dealer's Choice holiday game with friends and family. 5c/10c played more like .25/.25 with some decent pots. They razzed me when I was telling them to bet small and put limits on the betting on some of the new-to-them games but they scoffed and said it was because I was losing; was down to $18.50 from my $20 buyin.

Oh well, I warned em! Leveraged the hell out of the fact that none of them knew how to fold. Played nice but still cleaned up.
IN: $20 ($40, counting wife playing on house money)
OUT: $97

Christmas Eve's Eve game. Thankful to have such a great group of people to come out and play... except that A-hole in the perry winkle blue shirt lol (Stacked me on a J high flop, he bet $25, I raised to $125 with QQ - he thought it was a bluff, so he shoved, I snap call, he rivers two pair with J8.... Jack eight, more like Jack shit! Lol, my run good continues)

Once an hour or so we like to get degen and play a No Limit Omaha hand... this one went $300 pre flop, and more than 2K all in, 3 ways, on the turn. (Board and the three tabled hands) 3 way chop ending in relief for the two of us that didn't have the flush redraw

Happy dealing wife, and me just before getting stacked...

Well Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals. I leave you this week with bonus happy Christmas Dog - We could all be this happy if we also didn't know what "Aces Cracked" meant

Last game for the year! It was one of those games where I felt like I played well, made some good reads and laydowns but just couldn’t hit any big hands and when I did, nobody had anything!

NLHE, 50c/50c uncapped. Two tables of 8.

In for $200, out for $210.
what size are your circular tables and how many can you fit round em?
