4 of a Kind
Someone told me stormtroopers were the best to pick.
I have one, not awkwardAre you sure? Have you played on one? I did for a while and it never seemed awkward to me.
People get so obsessed about spreading out on an octagon. It’s weird to me.
$495 cash out!
Serpentine with 4 columns?Possibly one of the worst games ever invented or the best but nowhere in between. View attachment 1324062
Lol. Great job on the set, one of the most fun custom sets I've played on. You wouldn't think it would work with all the colours but it works great!$495 cash out!

I love SOHE! Never played it as a tourney. Fun! No limit? Great chairs too!Had a great time at a friend's today, they hosted a SOHE tournament and broke out some special Cinco de Mayo card markers! Very Nice China chairs as well.

Great first hand!! Second, I find it curious to put the shuffler in the center of the table. What is the thinking on that?View attachment 1324889A nice first hand double up with quads!!
And some final table action!

I imagine no dedicated dealer and the game is self-dealt.Great first hand!! Second, I find it curious to put the shuffler in the center of the table. What is the thinking on that?
Where else would it go so that it doesn’t impede one player more than another? We self deal and that space is really unused in a self dealt game.Great first hand!! Second, I find it curious to put the shuffler in the center of the table. What is the thinking on that?
I remember 2 hands (that I luckily wasn't involved in) that fired up your stack. Your flush vs aces, and top two vs top and bottom on the flop.Ran pretty well in the cash game with @grantc54 and @Racer96. Got smoked in the tournament, but ran $60 in the cash game into $400. Thanks for bringing these insane chips Mike!

Trust me, I was super worried that it wouldn't work, lol! Just looking at the chips makes me happy though!Lol. Great job on the set, one of the most fun custom sets I've played on. You wouldn't think it would work with all the colours but it works great!
Originally I figured it would be center reach for those sitting in the center of the table. We pass the deal and seats 1 & 10 end up carry the heavy lifting getting the cards in and out.Great first hand!! Second, I find it curious to put the shuffler in the center of the table. I would think it would go close to the side that a dealer would use like at a casino. I like to put the cards in the center of the table for all to see easier, but for you, that is where you have your shuffler. I hear your point, you keep all the (flop turn river) boards close to the orbits, as it is self dealt. I think you wouldn't want the chips over the shuffler, so when a player wins the pot, they have to go around the shuffler.Where else would it go so that it doesn’t impede one player more than another? I understand you. Yeah, the heavy lifting is loading and unloading the cards for the shuffler. I have one too, and that takes the most work. Mine is in a side cart though.Originally I figured it would be center reach for those sitting in the center of the table. Side Cart is the way to go if you have the room. For me it would cost a seat at the table.I understand you. Yeah, the heavy lifting is loading and unloading the cards for the shuffler. I have one too, and that takes the most work. Mine is in a side cart though.
Yea he even has stickers on the shufflers to ask people to not pass the chips over the shuffler. I think @SPR needs bigger stickersI would think it would go close to the side that a dealer would use like at a casino. Yeah I love the side cart, but it does cost a seat. I've settled on 9 players as the norm. Can still get 10 if had to.Side Cart is the way to go if you have the room. For me it would cost a seat at the table.
I rebuild my tables every few years so who knows, I may do something different in the future?
