I just played the jankiest poker tournament of my life. Had a lot of fun though, nice social get-together.

Apparently a friendly ten-handed $20 game of poker means chip for chip, no denominations, and blinds that go up every orbit.

The Copags I brought came in handy cause someone spilled beer all over the table in the first hand, but when I suggested using two decks they looked at me like I had 3 heads.

Nobody wanted to play on the pool table behind us, surely that's better than glass, no?

For a second, I thought I was in the Fugly Pokertable thread lmao

Friday night group a little smaller (deer season & Thanksgiving week). Tons of fun 2 tables!

This guy here, tons of respect. Played with him over 20 years. Brilliant mind and excellent poker player, Curly.

Developing a stack. Lots of rebuys on other table, not so much at mine with "rocks".

Made the final table. Battling some deeper stacks.

Hero raises pre, folds to SB who shoves less, BB covers and shoves over the top, hero calls . . .

Run my UTG :qd::qc: into SB :ah::th: & BB :kh::ks:

Flop: :8d::qh::7h: (set of Qs hero lead)

Turn: :8h: (flush comes in for SB)

River: :kc: (full house for BB)

Sick game, go from 2nd, to 1st to 3rd within seconds . . .

Out in 6th, paying 3 + bubble partial rebate.

Love these people!

Table, too. Blecccch.
With pics in hand, of my recent game, and my setup, I was able to secure many local recruits! They have no idea what I’ll treat them too!

This was a pretty heavy 1/3 NL game. It was pretty good. I do ultimately wish to run $1/1 and the like. So this was a good game for me to attend.

Ended up in for $300, out for $290, but no value on making cool new connections with some local non chipping poker folks!

Ran our last satellite for our WSOP series next year. $100 buyin 27 entries. I was lucky enough to be part of the 6 way chop that the chip leader offered. Out with $450.

.50/$1 Cash with intermittent PLO Double Board Bomb pots. Aces hold up in PLO bomb pot. (Not mine, of course.). Got grinded down to around $30 before coming back for $730 cashout.

And of course getting paid with the @quintooo hand was icing on the cake!

Thanks @Big Money @Dread_Pirate_Roberts @triton @Vinyard @DirtyTIVA for attending.

I finally got to felt my Airport Plaza set courtesy of @TheJestyr with add ons from @Jackstraw @doublebooyah85 @UniLover

We managed to use all the denominations, even though it was a 25c/50c game to start with a $50 buy in

Rebought several times, kept the game fun, only hold-’em sadly

In $175, out for $215.50

Photos came out pretty blurry…sorry about that… was drinking quite a bit…

Please excuse the blanket we used on this table as felt at the air bnb… in Hawaii (I don’t know how to attach videos on here, but the view was incredible from the penthouse).

@JeepologyOffroad I guess you can’t say you haven’t seen a home game use $10 chips now ;)
