Ran a 21 player bomb pot tourney for the first time last night. Went a bit longer than hoped but first time trying it out and erred on the side of longer than shorter.
I decided on doing bomb pots once at the beginning of each blind level with a separate button (bob-omb) rotating in the opposite direction after each bomb pot. Pause the DB one hand and continue moving it after the bomb pot so everyone pays their blinds. Bomb pots were 1 big blind posted per player.
I'd make the blinds a bit more aggressive next time. I'd say end of tourney expected when 20BBs in play as per any other tourney. Don't expect the bomb pots to wipe everyone out.
I had been thinking about selling my GCOP set for months... even over a year now probably just been too lazy to ship and didn't think anyone would buy. I didn't place but it's still great seeing them in play. First time getting that many 5k/25k/100k on the felt and I really like them a lot. Another 100+ of T1000s would be great too since we needed to make change a fair bit and those have the most spinners.

Managed to chop in 1st/2nd here! I've actually been 1st/2nd in 5 out of my last 8 tourneys!

First time setup - with nice chips, good felt, good timer.
Now get yourself the longest HDMI cable you can find to link the laptop and the secondary screen on opposite ends of the table and not 3mm apart.

Had a second screen on the snacks table that was on the oposite side (ipad from my son) with also the clock so I don't have cables running across the floor haha

@Flopalopagus hosts a really fantastic game! Loved it, close to where I grew up and I was home for the holidays. I was definitely just a donator lol, lost in the tournament and punted a buy-in in the cash game but still had a blast. Bomb pot was tough, set over set and a few other hands where I just was second best, solid group of players.
Could not have lost money to nicer guys, and my cousin is learning the game took 3rd in the STT with 4 bounties!

The face of someone that gets home after remembering the blinds started going up like no other as soon as I took that last picture…
SUCH big jumps, uh idk why but never again. 12/24, 25/50, 100/200, 300/500 and so on. I don’t remember losing chips but it’s okay. I had fun so that’s the main thing.

Played a $5 tournament which was wildly overvalued with my chips… excuse the portable table I brought to my aunts… lol
I won the first game and then decided to buy everyone back in if we played Texas double board, definitely more fun!

Then I got invited to a game on Black Friday
They thought they had great chips, some NCV plastic/dice looking chips, maybe ceramic…
I said hella nah and they enjoyed the set
Finally got the 50c chips into play, started off pretty hot in the 50c/$1 game, but played pretty loose for the stakes and got them to try bomb pots with Texas double flop which progressed to Omaha double flop and finally big O double flop. Probably should say double board idrc.
Kept adding on ended up catching up in back to back pots where I quartered the same opponent (once where I was nice and let him run it twice with a one outer that he hit on one board) and the other…

I can see how your big O game can get insane @Gorbash, scary with higher stakes… lol I just played once and it was double board (is that what you do for bomb pots)?
