Official Home Game Pics Thread! (57 Viewers)

Got my recently completed mixed casino set in play last night. Unfortunately I just got the one pre-game pic. No live action shots.

Also a post game family portrait. More pics, and the story of me putting this set together posted in THIS LINK.

Unfortunately, I am the world's worst at remembering to take pics during a game. Robert, I can usually count on you. Did you get any live action pics last night?
Yeah got a few, just took a while to recover between us breaking at 3am and 3 hours of sleep into racquetball, etc. Fun game as always, thanks!

A tale of three home games this week:

Pic 1 - apologies for the double post, but I started the week on Monday with my Diamond Jacks chips and Statesman cards, at a friend’s house with a foldout topper on top of deck tables and an assortment of chairs.

Pic 2 - Triton table + chairs + cards, with Monte Carlo chips.

Pic 3 - family gathering with Bicycle paper cards and the only currency we had available - Monopoly money, in a hastily constructed tournament structure.

Ran the gamut this week of chips, cards and other equipment. But in all cases a good time was had with good people.

Trying to get some bench work completed today while watching old WSOP streams...

Then a friend stopped by to play a little 1/2 NL Head up trying to get even from last night 2/5 game.

I guess the work can wait till later - it is Sunday after all.

It is a dealers choice game at my place - From NL holdem to NL Seven Card Stud.

Saturdays game - started on Saturday of course, with 8 - players, but Sunday morning 3 remained, all 1/2 NL - 1500 buy in -, in for 1500, out for, well lets just say a little more than 1500.

Sh!tty table I know - got rid of the oval casino style because we don't have a dedicated dealer any longer. This was cheap, needed it quick and I have new table toppers arriving soon...

What size is that table?

Friday night, y'all know what's up! 13 playrlers tonight.

My buddy Adam, we always have fun. Even when these peeps are trying time be all serious.

John dealt full time tonight.

Final table time . . .

Chipping up a bit. The dime is in play.

Out in fourth. I was in no mood to chop (honestly in with worse players by far). Got it in 4 separate times dominating and lost all four, not even flips. Oh well, profit is profit.

Bsck at the Professor's Game! .50/.50 Mixed games. They actually played a few rounds of 5CardNoPeeky which is a nightmare since half the table is drunk and high on top of having hearing aids.

I was down for awhile, in for $50 then bought another $20, then another $20 (since we cant fully rebuy, odd structure where the chips stay on the table but cash goes away). Had a few great hands, caught some bluffs and got lucky a few times. Spoiler alert I did very well, but the slow pace of play and the confusion over pots annoyed me more tonight.

Im not current dealer but there would be confusion over who owes what, Id tell them what the bet was then they'd have to discuss it until they came to the same answer I had. Oh well, room full of it.

In for $50+ $20+$20
Out for $188

Biggest hand:

MP is to my right, hes the guy who was almost soft colluding last time, best player from their friend group. Older and can be snappy but nice enough and plays well, Ive caught him bluffing but Ive also seen him value bet. Last time he called out my position raise correctly and has 3bet me light before.

.50/.50 hold em, 6 handed, last 4 hands of the night.
UTG and MP both call the .50
Hero raises to $2 with QdQc
Folds back to UTG, calls
MP raises to $6
Hes done this before to this size, I fold my ATs last time and he smiled about it, but oh well.
I 4bet to $20. This isn't too insane of a raise, it got attention but we'd been playing decent pots. He was effective stack, somewhere around $60ish.
UTG and MP both call.
Pot $60.
Flop 9 T J

Overpair and open ender, I was planning on shoving any non-Ace flop but got devious. Bet $13 to try and keep both in. MP is 3betting light and UTG is a calling station. If they shove I snap call. They both call BUT

MP says call, and while assembling chips, says All-In. I usually let things slide in this game, but this was a big pot. Other players had heard him say all-in and argued but he fessed up and said I was right. Not sure if he was pulling a fast one but sneaky. Saw him big gulp after this bullshit.

Turn 9 T J A

Yup, that sucks. He shoves for $19 out of turn and UTG folds, this is the game we play in. I now lose to TT, JJ, 99, KK, KQ, AK, AA, KK, AJ, AQ, AXs, etc, ugh. BUT its a cheap price, Im still open ended and hes a player that is capable. I know this should be easy looking back but I had lost some big hands and I was considering just keeping the $20 to fight another day.

Nope! Call after a minute, he chucks his 66s face up onto the table, river Jack holds, I scoop a big pot a few hands before closing. Amazing feeling.

Was basically down to a chip and a chair, $23 in front of me after having been into the game for $90.

Up early at @TKEUofM's final tourney of the season. Need a good showing to hopefully clinch a spot in the TOC (a win would guarantee it) and defend my title from last season.

Final table. Drew the button and managed to escape posting blinds until the end of the orbit. Survived to the top 5 in by stealing blinds.

Finished second in a field of 32. When it got to heads up, the blind schedule was maxed out. There was about T160k in play; I had T9k and my opponent had T151k. I shoved J6o on the first hand and he held with Qx. GGs.

How distracting is it trying to play whilst also manage that many people inside your home?
Don't let @TKEUofM kid you. It's alot of work. I'm just a PCFer, but most of these guys seem like old friends, and several pitch in to help where they can. @TKEUofM does a lot of work, before, during and after the tournament and he is super chill during the tournament, playing and running it. It's well-organized, with quality equipment in a top notch space. And there are some pretty good poker players in the league, so it's a challenge too. Really glad I got an invite to play there.

Also, hi @BamaT8ter!
