NYD at @Boother36's. Sat at the felt with @Skagglio, @Marc Hedrick, @Sprouty, and @Hooligan350 plus some locals for circus cash games. @Random Phish joined our table at the end of the night.

@Boother36, @mike32 and a bunch of locals were at the HOPE table. Jason made ribs and as always, it was a good time. Great way to start the new year.

@Boother36 bought some Desert Palms BCC chips from @TheChipRoom back around 2009ish for like $1 each, and I thought he was certifiably crazy to spend that kind of money on poker chips. Jim at the Chiproom was local to us back then and that eventually got me started chipping as well. Boother has been hosting a New Year’s Day game for quite some time now and I don’t think I’ve ever missed one. He is an excellent host and was always ahead of the curve with his basement remodel, great table and beautiful chips. Always a great spread of food, and we both have a thing for cheap beer like Hamm’s or High Life, so it’s always a great time. This year was no exception! There were quite a few pcf players in attendance, plus a few guys I’ve been friends with for 40 or even gasp 50 years!

It was a going great, until the "duplicate" Blurples came out... lol

For the record, I concede that a straight flush to the Jack is indeed sufficient to win half of the double board derailment Queen high "nut" flush on both boards... lol ... DOH

In $100
Out $170

Don't feel bad. I did it to @jamesjkim recently too!

Played for the first time this year. Game hosted by a long time friend of mine that has more Bronco memorabilia in his basement than like 10 fans combined. Main table has custom Bronco felt. Hotstamped dice chips for cash game with denom on one side, and Bronco logo on the other. Picked out some card guards to match the theme of the basement!!

Ran awful in the tournament;
IN $35
OUT $0

Couldn’t miss in the cash game;
IN $100
OUT $303

Duuude, you have "Hard Drivin" in your garage? Man, that game brings me back!
Lol. Me, too. That game is how I learned to drive stick as a teenager.

Most of the garage is pinball but I couldn’t pass on a cheap Hard Drivin, and I have a Galaga mame as well (plays a couple hundred retro games).

Played my first ever limit game last night with chips I recently picked up from @EastCoastCali (thanks again!). I absolutely loved limit but some of my guys enjoy shoving in their entire stacks at will so they weren't huge fans. They still found a way to make it crazy by maxing out each betting round without looking at their cards until the river. Would've been nice if they had done that on the hand where I hit quad aces :cry:. Still a great night of poker. In for $50 out for $130
