If any of you guys can get the following in your area at a reasonable price I'd be willing to return the favor somehow.

Bardstown discovery series 2 or 3
Bardstown fusions series 2 or 3
Old Carter rye or bourbon
Remus repeal reserve
Smoke wagon uncut unfiltered
Traverse city (Michigan only I think?) I'd be interest in any of their stuff, but the wheated one is at the top of my want list

I’ll look for the Traverse stuff. Have you ever tried anything from Iron Fish?

What traverse city are you looking for?

I am hoping some more smoke wagon drops here soon.

I can get the Bardstowns at retail...

Anybody seen the Rabbit Hole Boxergrail Founder's Collection bottle out there? Doubt I could afford one, but I'm curious.

I have not. But the traverse city is great

Mainly the wheated traverse city. It's a white label.
Pretty sure I can get Discovery 2 and Fusion 2 pretty easy as well.
That would be awesome. Discovery I really want to try number 3. Number 2 was awesome so I would probably take one of each

Point taken, KC. Wasn't my intention though. Just wanted to provide some content to Scotch and Rye aficionados as well. I'll be more mindful next time.

Looking forward to sharing a pour with you soon, man...

3. Cheap mixer (and for guests you know won’t appreciate it): WILD TURKEY 101

4. Something great - your Friday night bourbon: ELIJAH CRAIG BARREL PROOF

5. The saving for a special occasion bottle: GEORGE T. STAGG

I'm with you for sure! I much rather drink 1920 over over the 100 on a daily basis, LOL! I was just trying to pick something on the less expensive side.

This thread has morphed from "The Official PCF Whisk(E)y thread" to "The expensive rare Bourbon Rabbit Hole Addiction" thread. It's bad enough we're all chip addicts, but now I have a new obsession with disposable income and more time at home due to lock downs.

THANKS GUYS, YOU'RE THE BEST!!

I wish I stuck to chips. At least with chips they aren't a consumable. Chips are like a bank/savings account you can cash out at any minute (if you buy the right ones).

Putting the discovery on hold. Traverse city wheat is number 1 target if anyone see's it

Found a Remus for $75 but it was the 2019 bottling. Also found a Fusion #1. I think my liquor store is the outlet for old shit.

They got some Angel’s Envy cask strength in today but said it sold out fast and I missed it. Can’t afford it anyway so no big deal there.

My intention was more self deprecating. I struggled to put together a list that made me look like I knew what I was talking about. Then you waltz in and rattle off a complete list with various forms. Some day I’ll catch on but for now I’ll sit back and try to absorb as much info as possible. Which will be much easier to do in person over a few various pours. Cheers!!!

Also interesting unintended experiment. I opened a bottle of MM 101 to let it breathe a bit. Only forgot and left it out all night. So now have to go buy another bottle to see if I can notice a difference.

1. Daily drinker - your go to for enjoying bourbon: Eagle Rare/Buffalo Trace single barrel picks or Four Roses Single Barrel

2. Impress your guests - fancy but not too fancy: Four Roses Private Selects barrel strengths, Blanton’s (mehh)

3. Cheap mixer (and for guests you know won’t appreciate it): whatever is open and left - Buffalo Trace, Russell’s 10, Old Fo 100,

4. Something great - your Friday night bourbon: Stagg Jr, EHTBP, 4R Picks, OWA 107 picks, EC BP b520

5. The saving for a special occasion bottle: Four Roses Limited Edition
