I'd say EHT based on the cherry notes....but that isn't easy to find (for most peeps).

Ok, I'll stop guessing since I'm not drinking it!

That would have been sick if I blind guessed it off someone else's descriptors

I don’t think it’s EHT. I love EHT, but this seemed sweeter to me. Only had about half a bottles worth of pours from my EHT though. I also don’t taste cherry but I’m bourbon noob status when it comes to nuances

Going back to my EHT small batch. The cherry is there on the nose, I get more chocolate covered cherries though. Almost banana split hot fudge sundae stylee, with a cherry on top - (booyah). Big chocolate, wow. All of these depend on the angle that I hold my glencairn for the nose and when I choose to drink from the time I find the sweet spot on the nose. Drinking bourbon is really fun!

Have you or anyone tried the Norlan glass? It’s a game changer for me personally. It really tempers the alcohol smell and allows me to really keep my nose close to the whiskey to nose.

I have no glencairns. There is a Grand Marnier Christmas box set for sale at my grocery store ($33) with a 750 of G.M. and two G.M. glencairns. They have had the exact same inventory of them for a month, they are not moving. When they go on special this Saturday, I have half a mind to buy a couple.

Do you like Grand Marnier? How much are glencairns?

Wild Turkey Longbranch has shown up at my local store. Is it interesting enough that I should pick up a bottle?

That seems like a pretty good deal. Grand Marnier alone here is $35.

Nose for me is strong orange peel. Dark cherry. Caramel and light oak scent. But I had to open a new bottle since the wife and I finished one off the other day. Your pour is from the middle of a bottle. Could be different smells.
Flavor for me is a hint of cherry, then maple syrup and vanilla. Finish is a bit minty then strong pepper.

Stumped on this one. Very different from any bottles I've tried.

At first, the nose was very earthy, maybe the wood, and also pungent... but possibly the pork butt cooking in the kitchen tonight lol. Got tied up and revisited later.

Nose: slight nuttiness following by vanilla and some oak.
Taste: Didn't love the initial taste. Chewing opened it up though to lots of vanilla or maybe toffee with a slight peppery finish for me... and more vanilla/toffee

Not a bad pour, but the first blind pour from yesterday is going to be tough to beat for my tastes I think
