@JeepologyOffroad recommendation, I searched for Rare Breed for a few weeks. Once I found it, I bought 3 bottles. Lol. I guess it’s popular here.
It’s interesting. The nose is full of oak and pepper.
The palate is almost like a rye, very spicy with some oak. The finish is long and powerful rye spice that ends a little sweet.
It is great, but my palate prefers OF 1920 at this proof (~115) and price ($50-$60 for me). OF 1920 is a cherry bomb, while WT Rare Breed is a spicy mother.
“Chewing” does bring out more of the vanilla and burnt caramel, but that rye spice and maybe cinnamon are still strong.
