It's C919 - i went hunting for some batch A bottles but i randomly found these tucked behind some of the batch C920sWhat batch is that ECBP? I can’t read
Secondary on it here in NJ is between $300 and $350; and I think that's robbery.I got quoted $900 for Rip 10yr yesterday. Probably could have negotiated down if I threw in some McKenna and EC BP and a bottle of champagne, but even down a bit is still 6x my max budget for a bottle. If anybody has a list of things they want, I'll literally buy them and send them to you at cost just to increase my rep and relationships with some of these guys.
Woah woah woah, rare breed makes a barrel proof!? I gotta get onePitting Rare Breed, one of my favorites, against a new found favorite tonight
I think all the rare breed is barrel proof unless you just meant wild turkey in generalWoah woah woah, rare breed makes a barrel proof!? I gotta get one
Had to send 2020 out with my favorite bottle of the yearWhat is everyone drinking tonight to celebrate?
(Face palm) no you’re right. I have the barrel proof. Not sure why I didn’t think it was... now I must pour myself a glass in remembrance of its gloryI think all the rare breed is barrel proof unless you just meant wild turkey in general
Best value in bourbon. Prove me wrong.Ok this was shockingly a very easy call between the 2 for me. Knob SiB is my new personal favorite. Still in love with the hot fire of the Rare Breed, but this knob creek is fantastic. Maybe I should try the RB against the regular Knob SiB
Don’t think I can. However I have heard you’re never going to find them again. The store picks from here on out will only be 9 years old not the 15 that you have. Not when they can sell those with a 15 yr label for $100 or whatever it is.Best value in bourbon. Prove me wrong.
The larceny barrel proof is very good. Winning whisky of the year may have killed its hidden value.Best value in bourbon. Prove me wrong.
Port Askaig isn’t a distillery, but is a brand from one of London’s best whisky shops, The Whisky Exchange. They are essentially an independent bottler and very similar to what you may see from Berry Bros & Rudd or other IB’s, selecting whiskies from distilleries, except Port Askaig only selects Islays for bottling. As far as I know, they don’t disclose the source distilleries.View attachment 597291Anyone ever had this one? Really enjoyed it worried my tastes have evolved and I might like scotch
I've got a few different scenes from act 8; all very good. They are a little different each year; but $90 is a very good price. I get mine for $85 and that's the lowest I've ever seen it.New favorite rye. May have to buy a couple backups for the strategic whisk(e)y reserve—my local has it on sale for $90.

Wow, grossView attachment 606491Anyone REALLY want this?
I do, if they’ll sell it at the Knob Creek price....View attachment 606491Anyone REALLY want this?
It would be gone if that was the case.I do, if they’ll sell it at the Knob Creek price....
Which was?The odd thing was they had some good prices on other things and bought something that I heard was the lowest price ever seen.
