If I had your cabinet I’d start with bookers then brookladdy then glenfiddich glenfiddich glenfiddich

I find starting with high proofs prepares your palette for the subtle nuances of lower proofs
Finish that with that don julio rum for dessert

I have rules: I generally don’t buy Bourbon cheaper than $25. I’ll make mixed drinks with that stuff: Early Times BiB, Knob Creek 9yr, Old Forester 100.
I’ll make cocktails with Bourbons in the $25 to $50ish range. Four Roses single barrel falls into the top end of that. :)

Now, anything $50 and over, I only drink neat. Even barrel strength. I’ll sometimes add a few drops of water, but never ice.

These are my “rules” for me. You can drink yours however you want. I’ll never judge ;)
What are you using for your whiskey sours??

Buillet Barrel Strength. We finished the old bottle to make room for the new one. Lol.

I don’t love Bulleit vs other barrel proofs...but I do love barrel proofs in cocktails. And it’s a good value.
