C really tasted older, 12yr+. I’m glad it wasn’t Eagle Rare 17 because I didn’t love it. Lol.
Batch 14? Awesome. How does it compare to other stagg Jr. batches for you?My wife and I HATE the Hibiki, especially for $90. That 1792 12 year is hard to find. I think your wife maybe hates the funky oak on the back end. IMO, it is very similar to BiB 1792, but with that funky oak present. Bernheim was my attempt to find an always available wheater to compete with Weller --- not even close LOL. While I have not yet opened my "best" bottles, that Stagg Jr is the best bourbon I have ever had. It only got better and better as I got down to the bottom.
