Yeah these are like taking a glencairns and smooshing it down a bit, like a cross between a glen and a snifter:

Stagg Jr 9 and 12 hold their own against much more expensive offerings...especially after they’ve been open for a couple of months.
And I’d throw these glasses out there for consideration. Nice to drink out of without feeling “dainty”.

Also recently pointed out to me...fans of Stagg Jr might give Old Forester 1920 a whirl. Similar proof point, nice complex flavors...with the added bonus of being available for purchase anywhere.
But as was mentioned earlier...drink and enjoy your Rare Breed, chase the other stuff for the thrill of the hunt.

Revisiting YKY tonight, on its own. It is delicious. If the price is right, worth snagging, since it is discontinued.

Picked up a Four Roses Barrel Strength OBSO today. Your thoughts? Should I go back and buy them all?
Looks like a tasty one from what I’ve read. Also, I love my barrel strength cocktails...so...should I make an Amaretto Sour with this one or nah?

Also got a chance to try the new denver & liely glass tonight. Very nice, comfortable in the hand and the shape really helps with the nose. Purchase approved

Something to note about these glasses though - probably not the best option for a poker night, especially if your table has jumbo cup holders. They fit the cup holder OK, but the main portion of the glass where you'd normally pick it up sits below the cup holder, and the curved top portion of the glass makes it difficult to pick it out of the cup holder. It slips out of my hand unless I grab it by the lip. YMMV
Maybe you could throw a spacer in the bottom to boost it up a bit? I have those cup holders, so that’s a sad sight right now lol
You probably could. I was playing around a bit with them and the shape of the glass is such that you can tilt it within the cup holder enough to get a finger under the main part of the glass to lift it out:
I have a game on Friday, I'll report back on if that works or is too annoying over the course of an evening.

It's like I can find MM 46, but not cask strength.
