There's another brand not available here. How do you like it? Had any others? like the BiB bourbon or the single barrel?
I have all three. Got them through my Flaviar membership and love them all.

This rye is pretty good. Sweet. Toffee. Cinnamon. Mint. A bit of oak on the finish, but a short finish. I still prefer Pikesville. It is my barometer for ryes.

I lied. I just took a big drink and the finish is looooooooooong. :ROFLMAO:

And I double checked. It’s 100% rye with 5% malted rye. Yummy.

Curious to hear your thoughts on this one!

I know it’s popular but I had no expectations and didn’t read any reviews or anything. I thought I wouldn’t like it, but it’s actually lighter than what I thought it would be. It has those herbal grassy notes that I love in Willet even though that’s a rye and this is a bourbon. It has a great mouthfeel and super oily which coats the mouth. Finish is medium long and because it’s oily it gives a great finish.

once again, I am surprised at how much I like it. I usually don’t like a lot of the hype that follows some whiskys, but I did like it.

besides larceny, weller SR, and makers mark any other recommendations for wheated whiskey
