Or you are making up for your dry month.
Just taking a month to be healthier in all ways. But I should have done this in February. Hahahaha. What's with all the "dry month" business, fellas? Is there a contest to see who can drink bourbon the slowest?

Next one is after the Superbowl....cause I ain't stopping during football season! It was actually very nice. My wife and I plan on 2 to 3 per year from now on.
Blue was not my favorite. I preferred Red as a special thing and Yellow for every day.
I do all my neck pours into a infinity bottle.Anyone into infinity bottles?
Yup. First 2oz out of every KY Bourbon I open. I had a running list, but it got too long. I don’t keep track anymore.Anyone into infinity bottles?
Anyone need this 15 year Barrel Bourbon Cask Strength. It's a little above my pay grade for drinking whiskey. LMK. Last bottle on shelf and I'll be shopping next door for a bit.

yeah, a 15 year old bourbon would make me want to know what I was getting into before I bought it... and $250 for a bourbon is WAY more than I'd pay.ive only tried one Barrell bourbon and I didn’t really like it. I have an infinity Barrell unopened but I don’t want to open it since I didn’t like their standard. $250 is a lot for a 15 year. So many 15 year scotches I would prefer For less.

I've never tried any Barrel bourbon myself but seeing that it was only 1 bottle left, 15 year cask strength, I thought someone here might be interested.
Don't let the peanut gallery get to you. For every five posts I make with "anybody want this?", I'll get one positive response and mostly crickets. On the bright side, I've ended up with a couple extra nice bottles as a result of people on the fence. Nothing $250ish though. I've even been turned on to a few good ones, like Redwood Lost Monarch, that I never would have tried otherwise.I've never tried any Barrel bourbon myself but seeing that it was only 1 bottle left, 15 year cask strength, I thought someone here might be interested.

I am a big fan of Barrell myself. They put out some of the best stuff around, although they are not batting 100% with their releases. Totally understandable since they have new stuff out all the time.
The first release of the 15 year old is definitely among the best bourbons I've ever had. The second release wasn't as good but still pretty tasty. I have not opened the third release yet. The bottle shown above is the third release btw.
I bought it since I had the older versions and I wanted to compare, but yeah, $250ish retail is up there in price for sure...
What they are doing, sourcing great barrels, blending them, and repeating is a cool concept. At times I normally go for a bit more consistency, if I’m spending that much on an entire bottle I want to know I’ll enjoy it. Though I’ve heard the barrel dovetail is great and I plan to pick that up.
going in the total other direction from consistency

I’ve got some plans.
I put the first 2 ounces of each bottle I open into mine as well, but mine is not exclusive to just Kentucky bourbons. Coincidentally, I just finished my first fill up tonight! 13 different whiskies that combine for an overall bottle proof of 104.3. Gonna have my first pour from it on Friday night at my cash game.Anyone into infinity bottles?
