Westfield, 3 seconds from Carmel.
I have relatives in Westfield! They have a 6'6" gigantic grandson / son playing football. I helped build a few houses in Westfield about 15 years ago. Nice place. One day they will upgrade "downtown" Westfield and it will really be something.

Will check it out. Vine and Table is my go to. BTW downtown is under construction.

Grand Junction in progress. Ampitheater, restaurants, we are growing. We have a couple breweries and are getting a distillery too.

Which one is supposed to be the one? Less expensive versus high proof. Ooof.

Weller SR. I tried Larceny last weekend. I prefer the neck pour of Larceny to the neck pour of SR. Larceny is smoother and sweeter. Those that like high proof might prefer Weller as it tastes higher than the 90 it is. Another pour is in order for science!View attachment 711756
Don't feel bad, I prefer the Larceny as well. Wellers is still good but Larceny > Wellers SR > Makers Mark

So far I agree with this. And I was a long term Makers drinker (before I started trying others)

OMG!!! I better start saving if I am to at least consider getting this beast! It won’t be cheap, that’s for sure.

A 26yo Laga, Cask Strength, fully matured in PX/Oloroso? Take my left nut, please...
And only 107 calories per serving. It's practically diet!

Bardstown Discovery Series, #2
A blend of 10- 12- and 14-year old Kentucky whiskey, probably all sourced
122.2 proof (I had not noticed the HIGH proof before)
I drank it neat, out of a NEAT glass. Sipped slowly over hours.
I liked it a lot. Color is fantastic, aroma is beautiful. And the flavors are punchy. There is nothing timid or shallow about the flavor profile, and this stuff lingers, really lingers, after a sip. BUT, this stuff drinks hot. Not astringent at all, just hot. You take the hot away, and it's up there with my favorite bourbons ever. I look forward to seeing what some ice will do to it.

Maker's FAE-01 just dropped today in PA. There are no sleepers to be found in PA. By the time we see it on shelves, the word is out. At least there's no price gouging.

I have a bottle if you'd like to taste it next weekend. Or if you want a bottle, I may be able to sneak out at some point and grab one, I think they've run like $70 around here.

ECBP tonight.
2nd night trying it. I really liked it last time but it was the first pour. Wanted to confirm how much I liked it tonight.
It's really fantastic. 118 proof. Lower than previous versions. 1st one I've had. So good. Not too hot though. So damn smooth and full. To bad it's so hard to find (and expensive)! I wish it was easier to find. It would be my go to.

Tell me how good it is.

Oh man, this is awesome. Noses more like a bourbon. Tons of sweet caramel, apple, creme brulee. Palate gets that rye spice, pepper, knob creek woodiness, and it has a long delightful finish. If this opens up over the next month and gets better, I will be very pleased!!
