While out and about, I stopped at a store that I rarely ever go to pick up a bottle for poker night. I also got lucky and snagged a couple of not so easy to find bottles here in NC! First ECBP I’ve seen this year and only the second time for the McKenna.

What you pay for the Mckenna? I passed on a $99 bottle last week. Thought about it, but seemed a bit pricey. Picked up a Knob Creek 12 for $60 instead

After buying A121, I decided I was done already. Then, I saw B521 and grabbed a bottle. UGH!! Now, I have to get the C921, right? LOL!!

In all seriousness, I think I'm done buying ECBP unless it is an out of this world release, which I don't think likely since bottle numbers seem to be increasing. Anyways, I simply do not have storage for any more ECBPs anymore. So it will have to be at a minimum, a 'replacement' purchase.
I thought I would try the Larceny BP already knew I wasn’t a fan of EC but was let down by the A120 of Larceny and after B520 didn’t impress me I decided I was done with it. In fact think I’m done with Heaven Hill as a whole so can’t bring myself to buy a Parker’s.

When it rains, it pours...Weller.

I went into my local shop to ask the proprietor if he could get Clase Azul Resposado tequila, and he said he’d try. Then he reached under the counter and said “I got three bottles of this and saved you one, in case you had any interest....”

At retail, naturally. :cool

Oh boy. I know how I’m spending my weekend.
Has some really cool features, including marking bottles open/closed, price paid vs current value, and the ability to download as an Excel spreadsheet. The current value function is scary...I have a few bottles I bought years ago that have exploded in value and now I’m not sure I want to open them or buy a Porsche.

I'm going to see a lot of Ohio boardgamers in November. I need to pay them a finders fee to stock up on Weller for me and my homies.
