I think I posted my thoughts on the exact same question a few pages ago.

I think the regular Lot40 is (or at least was, since it's be a few years since I had it) a pretty decent Rye. However, the Lot40 Cask Strength 12yo, their first release a few years back (Canada only), was the best Canadian whisky I've ever had and one of the best Ryes I've ever had.

The KC Twice Barreled was my favorite and it was the one that was most recently opened. If you like any of the KC ryes, you’ll most likely enjoy the Twice Barreled as well.
 
Found Stellum today. Both the bourbon and the rye. Wasn't in the mood to buy anything today, just browse. So I left them on the shelf.
 
My daughter's going to be staying in The Gulch in Nashville this weekend. Anyone know what liquor stores she should be hunting in that area?

Cool springs wine and spirits has a huge selection, great staff and a nice bar in the back corner to sample a lot of great stuff.

Red spirit and wine is also a very good bet

I am one of those people! After trying this particular Private Barrel, I went back and bought 4 more! I’ve tried the 13, and I thought it was very good, but not at the ridiculous price my buddy paid for the bottle...$120. If I can find one at msrp which I believe is $70, I’ll gladly buy it.

Rr13 are trading for like $300 here. Ridiculous

Old Forester Birthday 2021 bourbon spotted in New York City today for $750. I did not buy it.

... I offered a rack of official casino weight chips for trade.

But seriously, one of my favorites, so I'm going to have to look out for it in NJ.

He says, “I think I have a couple at home. I’ll check. What else?”

“Weller 12?”
