CIGAR BLEND BATCH #69: “TEN LORDS A-LEAPING”
129.72 PROOF

On the tenth day of Christmas, the Leaping Lords are not about to be undone by the rough and rowdy Batch #68, aka “Nine Ladies Dancing.” In this batch we find an old and deep vintage Armagnac barrel influence, with dark dried fruit notes of Medjool dates, black mission figs, grilled peaches, plump dark raisins, and black currants, together with “rancio” old nutty notes of strong and tangy blue vein cheeses such as French Roquefort and English Stilton, wintergreen mint candy, and dark pumpernickel rye. Rich notes of classic Italian Panettone bread, dried mesquite bush, peppermint patties, and mint simple syrup fill the palate. Waves of candy cane, blue-veined cheese, and buttery cinnamon toast with real maple syrup trickle down the gullet. A true gentleman’s dram!

How much did it cost you?

I just paid $50 over retail online (retail is $200 right?). I need it, so said f it, lol

Been so long since I added to it I forgot I had started a Bou-Rye infinity bottle. Found my records in the bottom of a pile today.

Makers Mark 101
New Riff Rye SB
Rendezvous Rye
Wild Turkey Rare Breed

Good start!

Like chewing the center of a Nutter Butter. Can’t recommend. Although a friend of mine made a chocolate peanut butter martini with this and likes it.

Fuggers just canceled my cigar blend order. Way to manage your inventory bitches. FWIW, I DO NOT recommend ReUp liquor online. Do not shop there.
I had a Wild Turkey ONE on order. I forget the online retailer. Same thing, got canceled. Fuck em. I'll buy from local stores or distilleries. Plenty of hooch out there.

I can't remember who it was, it might have been @Forty4 , but there was a question about Little Book Chapter 1 Secondary prices.

Just saw one and the ask was $375.

I guess we shall see in two months or so (when I open this Hirsch) if our barrel is better than Fred’s. Maybe I’ll open my JD Coy Hill at the same time and go ape on some high proof juice.

After my dry month, i have to open one. If it taste like dirt...it might be nostalgic for me? hahhahha

i need a detailed tasting since i have the same barrel as you. Also, I'm dry this month, and i'm itching to open some of my bottles. So please, give us a breakdown; Nose, Palate, viscosity, finish.
It drinks like Noah's Mill on steroids. Cinnamon bomb, and you'd never know it was nearly 140 proof.
