The crew went behind my back and chipped in on this bottle for me as a thank you for organizing games. Think I’ll keep ‘em around.

I've heard good things about that pour. Thoughts?
I get dark fruits, burnt sugar, charred oak and a ton of spice. Not quite cinnamon. But not rye spice either. It’s pretty damn good. But I have no other discos to compare to.

It finishes much higher than 111 proof. Finish is medium and drying. Definitely taste the age.

I thought I heard that Disco-6 had a large share of Dickel product in it, and the typical Dickel-mineral taste was hard to miss. Disco-7 still has some Tennessee whiskey in it, but I've heard nothing about any mineral-y-ness in that one.

I think dickel was heavy in disco-5 and wasn’t well received. But 6 was loved in every review I read

5 was the downer with all the Dickel. 6 is 16% Dickel, but it’s 17yr in the blend.

Just fished this out of the back of the cabinet to see if it improved… a majority of this bottle went to samples and then had sat untouched.
