A few new to me pickups. The larceny barrel proof was a nice find at $65 at a local Delaware spot I check. Another spot had the same bottle for $130 which is stupid.

So...what is the correct protocol when you ask someone to enter a bottle lottery on your behalf as a proxy, and they win, and they suddenly decide they'd like to keep the bottle? Do I disown my sister? Asking for a friend.

Depending on how the bottle in question will be picked up/delivered, intercept said bottle at the store where it is to be picked up or at the point of delivery. You're a relative just doing a favor for your beloved sister. :whistling::whistle: :whistling::whistle: :whistling:

Does she know much about whiskey? Maybe offer her two normal bottles of whiskey for that one

I have 4 sisters. I could stand to disown one.

Really, it depends on what bottle she "stole" from you.

Trying to kill another bottle. My wife used most of this one for cocktails while I was at @Josh Kifer Boise meetup. She was admonished. One cocktail is fine. But most of the bottle… I can’t go for that. No. No can do.

Lol, I would need to pay like $300 for a bottle of that (assuming I can even find it) and you west coast folks use it for mixers. Sigh.....

;)

It’s 8;30. I just got off work. My dinner is cold. But I have an interesting dram to keep me warm.

Correction, finished in french chestnut is weird.
