On to the single barrel. In the words of Prince:

“Let’s go crazy. Let’s get nuts.”

Super interested. Let me know how they are
Not bad they have cask strength of all their whiskies. The rye was pretty good but I found the cask strength 4 grain to be very good I actually purchased a bottle it is 120 proof

Okay I’ll look them up. Cask strength 4 grain. Got it
Drinking some now. For only a 4 year aged product it comes across with a nice mouth feel. The nose comes across as more rye with a pepper citrus note. On the pallet there is a sweetness from the wheat but finishes with a light rye spice. And for a 120 proof it drinks really easy

two things, wtf is black irish bourbon? so confused on how those words go together. Also, I like your definition of 'some'.

No cards tonight. But we have the first fire in the Solo Stove and a drink in our hand. Enjoying the PNW night air.

How is the Blood Oath 7? I passed on it at $110 and might be full of regerts.
It’s a bit funky/musty with the Sauternes finish. But I like it. Nice long and spicy finish. Blood Oath is always 98.6 proof, but this one could use a little more. Maybe 110.

I think $100-$110 is the right price.
