anything you guys prefer in the triple digits type of weather?
on another site I see a lot of people putting bottles of 4 roses in the freezer and calling if frozes

Ancient Age appears to be another popular freezer bourbon.

Not a huge bourbon guy, but someone gave this to me the other day. Is this good? If so I'll bring it to @MegaTon44 Meetup.

Haven't seen this one yet but after reading about it and checking out their website, I'd definitely be interested in trying it. Sounds like there will be quite a few whiskey lushes at Dan's, if you bring it I'm sure it'll get passed around.

You need to do a three way comparison including that Blantons and EH Taylor. The Bowman is supposed to be Buffalo Trace distillate (mashbill 1 or 2) that was distilled one more time after if gets to Virginia and then aged 9-10 years. I’d be curious to see how it compares.
I was 2/3 of the way there the night I cracked the bottle. Don’t want to admit it but Bowman’s is the winner over the Blanton’s. Tonight’s pour only reinforces my initial take.

How is it? I have one I have not yet opened...
I like it. It's got a similar profile to the SBBP offering, but you can definitely tell this has more sleeping time. SBBP is a big and flavorful vanilla & banana pudding cup of jet fuel, this is dialed back with a lot more barrel char and oak notes. Dark and sweet at the same time, which I really like - its more "sophisticated", if that makes sense.

Worth the price at MSRP amd slightly above, not at the crazy secondary prices. And SBBP is still the better value.
