Had this last night my first drink in a couple weeks because I lost my sense of taste and smell oddly after some sort of virus.

Covid has destroyed any desire to have a bourbon. I haven't had a drink since Cali. This is ridiculous!

When I had it, I completely lost my senses of smell and taste. My barometer was a tiny sip of Rare Breed each day, to see if I had recovered. It took a few weeks.

I honestly liked it the best out of everything we tasted that entire weekend except for the 4 Roses Single Barrel Barrel proof that Spencer brought. That was other worldly!

A couple friends have gotten me bottles recently knowing how much I like it, thinking it's rare.

It's showing up everywhere and is plentiful by me.

I picked it up at the distillery after the barrel selection. They gave all of the tasters a nice glencarin in the swag bag but I really thought this glass was cool!

Straight bourbon tasted terrible, but I had a couple hot toddies a day to soothe the cough and help me rest.
