I'm going to be in the Cincinnati area for a few days next month, and I might make the drive down to New Riff and look for this (or other interesting distillery-only bottles). It's only about an hour south of where I'll be staying.
If you do make it down to the New Riff distillery, you owe it to yourself to take the long, arduous half a block trip south to The Party Source super store! They had a bunch of great stuff in there. Think of a Walmart Supercenter gutted out and turned into one big liquor store with a Party City store thrown in for good measure:ROFL: :ROFLMAO:

So how many bottles am I allowed to put in my checked luggage again? :cool

Somehow I don’t think I’ll ever be able live down that rookie mistake of taking the undersized checked bag on a trip specifically to buy bourbon in Kentucky

It doesn't have to be great to kick the bottle on the far left in the pants. I needs to be well above average to compete with the alberta. Don't know about the rest.
The bottle on the left is just a baseline for the next one.

The Michter’s barrel strength is good, but kind of oaky. Hoping it opens up over the next couple of months.

I’m already onto the Barrell 14yr. It is REALLY good. Obviously, I haven’t had much of it. Just a few small pours. But it is really impressive each time.

And of course, I love the Alberta and Obtainium 14yr. I guess I’m a fanboy of high proof Canadian ryes, especially if they are 14yrs. No idea what the age is on the Alberta. Does anyone know?

Looking forward to try this one! First time ever seeing this bottle in the stores around here.

They also had more ECBP B522, but I could only get one or the other. Since I already have the ECBP, I took their last Ezra. Store manager put the B522 under the counter and told me it’ll be there waiting for me on Monday!

It’s a good one. It use to be hard for me to find, but now it’s on the shelf at my favorite store.

how long have you had it? I found the 1st 4 days real rough and after that it was basically just a cold.

Symptoms on TUE. Positive test on WED. I had most of the symptoms for two days. Now its pretty much coughing and fatigue. The fatigue is for real.
I had omicron back in January. I had a scratchy throat and was exhausted for about three days, then came back to about 90% normal over the next three days.

You're on the way back!
